I am not saying that abolishing national pride makes colonisation from outside inevitable, but that it makes it infinitely more possible than it would otherwise be. That which you do not value, you will not protect, so it will decline.

More concretely: if you do not take the boundaries of your home seriously, then fairly soon, not only will you have strangers living in your front room, you will actually have no grounds upon which to demand that they leave. And, if you are a polite sort of chap like Richard Dawkins, you will probably end up adapting to them, not the other way around.

But this is getting quite ridiculous. Of course cultural Marxism should be blamed. But the new fans of the Soviet Union have to feign ignorance about the Left.

What we're seeing here is an intellectual implosion of the Right. Another casualty of the Russian war.

I don’t know for how long, but evidently Wikipedia has been describing The Troubles as ‘an ethno-nationalist conflict’.

The term most frequently used to describe The Troubles is some variation of ‘sectarian violence’. I suspect Wikipedia’s editors are attempting to associate ethno-nationalism with terror, violence, and strife.
