Derek Hawthorne‘s new book, Being and “The Birds,” was the subject of the latest broadcast of Counter-Currents Radio. Philosopher and film critic Hawthorne draws on the thought of Martin Heidegger to illuminate Alfred Hitchcock’s 1963 classic The Birds, about a series of savage and inexplicable bird attacks on Bodega Bay, a sleepy California fishing village. Hawthorne argues that The Birds depicts a Heideggerian “event” (Ereignis): a sudden and fundamental transformation of the meaning of everything. Modern men believe we are masters of our own destiny. Heidegger calls this “humanism” and rejects it completely. The Birds is an anti-humanist film. In the space of one weekend, all pretensions to the understanding and mastery of nature are shattered, and man is reduced to helplessness in the face of unfathomable mystery.

The Venezuelans are handling a blatantly stolen election like how Americans would have handled 2020 if it was still a real country with self-respect.

Maduro, like his predecessor Chavez, is an anti-white turbo Leftist steeped in resentful liberation theology. They destroyed the white middle class of Venezuela, many of whom are in exile now.

Would DC like to see the Maduro regime go? Yes, because Maduro is allied with China and Russia who are allied with Venezuela for purely self-interested geopolitical reasons. Is the opposition super based like Bukele? No.

Is the Venezuelan uprising still legitimate? Yes, because the election was objectively stolen. It may also have something to do with how even the poor brown people who initially backed Chavez/Maduro are finally tired of being hungry all the time and le socialist revolution failing to deliver. Any CIA meddling would have failed if Maduro had been even slightly competent.

Backing Maduro because he's an enemy of DC is a prime example of reversing Carl Schmitt's friend-enemy distinction into an enemy-friend distinction. Enemy of my enemy is not automatically a friend.

I applaud the Venezuelans for having the will to power which modern Americans lack. Much like my stance on Ukraine, I am not willing to dance on the ashes of another country just to own the libs.

I always try to give my honest opinions with you, rather than tell you what I think you want to hear.

That creates an intellectually stifling environment. Feeding intellectually curiousity honestly is one thing even a single man can cultivate for the hungry.

The White identity movement has the kernels of something which could grow into a mighty oak.

But truthfully, there is a long way to go. The more I read about the Old Ones, the more I realize how coddled, weak & immature we are bred to be.

The ruthlessness of the pagans appeals to me. The "meek shall inherit the earth" is the language of the suffragettes and the abolitionists. It is the language of the emancipators and the social justice warriors. "All men are brothers in God" is the language of globalism and the eradication of borders, local culture and human biodiversity.

I would truthfully do anything, to have competent, ruthless but loyal allies at my side. But in recent generations there are only frightened, cautious and stupid rascals chasing their own tails.

No better demonstration than this was the retreat from Charlottesville. It was the collapse of the modern European resistance in America. Scared men retreating, hiding, and denouncing one another in fits of paranoia and frightened self-preservation.

If soldiers on an ancient battlefield turned their backs in such a retreat they would have been slaughtered where they stood.

This is why I say: competence, dedication & fearlessness before all other things. May we prepare a generation stronger than our own by burning the fear and weakness from within ourselves.

Pretty amazing how many African countries have military cooperation agreements with Russia. I had no idea. Putting together a July 2024 "communist bloc" info graphic to roughly describe the bloc of nations against the west. Everyone has seen the "nato is surrounding Russia" graphics, but no one has done the opposite. A testament to the hostility of alt-media "NATO surrounding" relies on a curious standard for "surrounded". ~10% of Russia's borders? Same people will also hold as true how much freeloading NATO has done. So a NATO unprepared for even for defense has been planning to invade Russia, which is both "The Bear" and victim. EXACTLY, any dissent from that contradictory narrative gets you called either a neocon or John McCain.

When the regime and its loyalists talk about the need to defend "our democracy", "multiculturalism", and so-called "British values", they're talking about the very conditions that have led and continue to lead to the sexual enslavement and torture of hundreds of thousands of British schoolgirls by Muslim men. And they're well aware of that.

They're talking about the very conditions that have led and will continue to lead to the racially motivated murder of hundreds of Britons and other Whites in Britain by foreigners - eventually we'll be well into the thousands. And they're well aware of that.

They're talking about the very conditions that have led and will continue to lead to the ethnic cleansing of millions Britons over by wave after wave of rapacious, clannish, often aggressive foreigners. And they're well aware of that.

They're talking about the ongoing psychological abuse, gaslighting, and demonisation of every member of our race from cradle to grave. And they're well aware of that.

They're talking about the very conditions that have led and will continue to lead to the mass slaughter of commuters and concert goers by Muslim terrorists, not to mention gypsy riots, Pakistanis battering White female police officers, and yes, the slaughter of infants by Rwandan youths. And they're well aware of that.

When they invoke "our democracy", "multiculturalism", and "British values", all of the above is part and parcel of what they mean. And yes, they're well aware of that. No ifs, no buts, no caveats. It is what it is.

And when they talk about "tolerance", they're talking about forcing natives like you to stay silent about it. They're talking about you being subjected to such malicious psychological abuse that you feel like you're evil for even feeling unhappy about any of it - and if that doesn't work, staying silent for fear that you'll end up in jail if you speak your mind.

When they talk about "tolerance", they're talking about putting as many non-compliant White people in jail as possible, just like James Allchurch, Kristopher Kearney, Ashley Podsiad-Sharp, James Costello, Sam Melia, and many others already are and have been.

Never forget any of that.

You can never, ever hate this regime enough, and should the tables one day turn in favour of our people, it doesn't matter how much more ruthlessly a nationalist justice system would deal with traitors and foreign aggressors, no sentence that could be passed on those in any way responsible for or complicit in this regime's countless atrocities, could ever be too harsh or too vengeful.

And if you're one of those loyalists or collaborators reading this and you think this sounds "extreme", I'll remind you that as you read this, somewhere on Merseyside, the bodies of two young children who this time yesterday were waking up excited to be going to a Taylor Swift workshop, lie cold in a morgue, because just before lunchtime, they were stabbed to death by a foreigner. Two families are suffering grief beyond anything you could possibly comprehend, and up to 11 other families may fear that the same lies in wait for them as their children and loved ones remain seriously unwell.

You are complicit in their suffering, and you have the blood of the victims on your hands. That's what it means to be loyal to this regime and its agendas.

Find a mirror, look yourself in the eyes, and keep looking while you have a long, hard think about all of that.

I didn’t post about this yesterday because I was angry and upset at what happened in Southport and I didn’t want to say something that could get me in trouble later, however I’ve been thinking about it a lot overnight and I feel as though I need to say this:

Every single one of you arseholes that supports open borders, preaches that “diversity is our strength” and facilitates a narrative where people are called racist for defending their own is responsible for the death of those children. I don’t give a crap if it’s too soon to say this. I am sick to death of children being stabbed and blown up and beheaded. I have two young children myself and it’s no longer safe for them to leave the house. You dickheads and everybody who supports Labour and the Tories have created a country where it’s not safe for our children to go to the park, attend a pop concert or go to a dance class. Blood is on your hands. You should never be allowed to forget what you have done. Look in the mirror and own what you have done.

And to all the people who say stuff like “the far right will weaponise this” and “the far right can’t wait to blame this on immigration” and “the far right are jumping to conclusions”… The far right are always right and we’re highlighting the reasons it’s happening because we’re sick of people dying, you stupid twats.
