It pumps more money into the failing US dollar. So there's a decent chance. The world's outside the west is de-dollarizing. Right now, the UK holds near equal US debt as China. With the UK having no real economy. Japan is at risk of going bankrupt due to buying china's wedge of US debt. Germany's economy collapsed to the US, blowing up nord-stream and continuing. Africa is in progress of decolonization. So, the EU/US can't exploit its population for cheap resources. South America is joining BRICS.
Basically, all the colonial powers are being shut out of the multi polar world as they refuse to be equals. So what better way than to create a disaster either by disease or WW3. Destroy it and let the chips fall where they may. Like flipping the board game when you're losing.

Whats weird is I already kind of see stuff like that happening. I find, for instance, that I don't tan as much in the summer. Not that this is directly related but last summer we also had wildfires in Canada and there was like a smoky haze that blocked out the sun for a good 4 -5 days
