What kind of app? I don’t think there is a c++ ui framework by default for instance. You can use Qt for this of course, but then you probably want Qt creator instead of android studio.

when you are 40y old, for example, and... you know literally everything that exist in information technology at least at middle-concept level then it's always a pleasure to get your eyes on some new fun stuff, be it rust, ocaml or some jquery bootstrap template for mobile web...

I'm not that experienced in Rust, but the c++ toolchains are probably more mature and complete. Rust is, on the other hand, more modern and have things like build system and packet management built in

and most developers forget about this but use stack more. it may sound simple-well-known obvious to anyone but when you malloc, new, make_unique or shared, think... can I just create it above at stack and pass as a pointer argument from &object parameter

your code will not be c-like it will be really better, in some cases it's so handy that you can set mmap in linker to give you more stack to app by Ldr

if you want to get fancy, use signals libraries and better to not use exceptions. return error is enough to abrupt execution in most cases but... it depends on task at hand

- it's good to have something new just to look at it
- developers are not weak at programming that support this project
- it's not C 'replacement', it's meant as C++... but modern C++ is way better, starting from syntax, ending everything
- use standard tests and sanitizers, want so — write intelpin tool or llvm-opt to test something
- use shared_ptr everywhere and your code will be faster still
- use coroutines

- learn C++)
- learn C... as sometimes you may want to write something not for desktop or get on lower execution levels
