Hello, when I looked at my battery statistics, I saw that the connection was consuming a lot of battery. Even if I turned off the wifi, the wlan0 interface was still open in the background and doing multicasting.

All officially supported devices can be found at the crDroid website
On each device's download page, it will state if your device is still being maintained by a device maintainer, and links to resources such as Device Specific Telegram Support Group, XDA Forum support thread, Recommended Gapps, Recommended Recovery, e.t.c
If your device isn't listed on the crDroid website, unfortunately there is no Official crDroid available for your device currently. New devices are only added when a device maintainer takes on the responsibility of maintaining that new device. Due to this, no one knows when or if a new device will be supported officially, so DO NOT ASK
There may be Unofficial versions of crDroid for your device on XDA forums, Google or Telegram, but we only support Official crDroid in our groups. GSI is also unofficial. Support for unofficial crDroid should be obtained from where you downloaded your unofficial rom.
Please note the crDroid community group is NOT for device specific support or questions.
For Officially Maintained crDroid devices:
1) Research in your device specific telegram support group or XDA thread to see if other users are having the same issue. Links to the group/xda thread can be found on the download page for your device on crdroid.net
2) If other users are having the same issue, please help your device maintainer by providing steps to reproduce the issue and suitable bug logs. Do this via your device group or xda thread. Do NOT PM your maintainer unless they request.
3)If no other users can reproduce your issue, then the problem may be specific to your device and it's setup. Clean installing crDroid (clean flashing) using your maintainers recommended steps & files can normally fix.
4)SEARCH and read in this group and your device specific group/XDA thread to see if anyone has the same issue..and any possible fixes/work arounds.
5)If your issue is game or app related, then your first point of support should be with the makers of that game or app through their support channels, groups and forums. Root detection of apps, games, or issues with play-integrity checks by these apps should be researched in more suitable places like XDA forums as they are not crDroid specific.
Unfortunately we only support official crDroid devices in our support groups. Any questions related to GSI or unofficial builds are not suited for this group
As always, Google, XDA, Telegram search, and other resources should be used at all times to help you solve your issue. There is no paid level of support for any custom rom. Support is given by volunteers only in their spare time.
This group is mainly non devs. Most users here won't be able to help with building crDroid from source or other developer activities. You may ask for help with building crDroid in this group, but please keep in mind that devs are normally busy and you may not get a response. Posting many times will be considered spam and you will be warned. If you are to post build logs/errors, please use a pastebin service.
Making a custom ROM for any device requires:
Unlockable Bootloader: Not all devices have an unlockable bootloader.
Device Ownership: For creating a custom ROM for any device, it’s beneficial if the developer or maintainer actually owns the device. Having firsthand experience with the device makes testing and troubleshooting much easier.
Availability of Build Parts: To build a custom ROM specifically for your device, the necessary “build parts” must be accessible. Unfortunately, not all manufacturers are equally good at releasing these components. If your device is Mediatek or Unisoc based, then chances are these parts are closed source and not available to build custom ROMs with.
Time and Effort: Crafting a ROM is a labor-intensive process. Developers invest significant time and effort into creating and maintaining it. It’s not a simple one-and-done task. Regular maintenance and support for users require ongoing commitment.
Keep in mind that many developers pursue this as a hobby during their spare time because they’re passionate about using the ROM on their own devices. If any of the above factors are not met, it’s unlikely that crDroid or other custom ROMs will be available for your device.

If you require basic knowledge on how to build from source please use Google, XDA forums. Further resources can be found at:

You will only get support from your device maintainer and support group if you use the kernel that is supplied with your device maintainers ROM.
You are welcome to choose and try a different kernel, but you are then responsible for any issues it creates.
Kernels are device specific so need to be researched in a device specific support group (not in this group).
There is No best kernel. Some are performance oriented and some battery efficient. Only way you can tell what works best, is to try it with your setup and use.
