But spread is usually higher if you try to buy directly with GBP

Also the liquidity is low

BTC GBP 24 hrs volume is under 100 BTC

BTC USDC 24 hrs volume is nearly 4k BTC

Plus coinbase has additional fees

On btc gbp for a £5k gbp buy its £59 fees so around 1.2%

Happens sometimes when everyone starts delisting something, if you check the data at the bottom there's a couple of odd exchanges with high prices and most have the low one, the ones with high prices aren't taking deposits so they're kind of irrelevant that it's high unless you happen to have some on there and could already sell
