The Horse Bank is Ok with Crypto, providing you instruct them of higher one off transactions in advance.

I doubt if any UK bank is crypto friendly.. The max you can get is a situation where they are "crypto tolerant"

Hsbc/ first direct is okay ish imho

While they have the restrictions on transfer out , they are quite clear on no issues with transfer in . They usually apply the restriction when they notice large transfers to exchanges. But the email which informs you about the restriction also clarifies that its only for transfers out


Ive done quite a bit of off ramping from cdc to my hsbc and no issues

On the other hand barclays made my life hell for far lower amounts

If in crypto open as many bank accounts as you can

Set up a small standing order or some small direct debit to keep them active


Banks can only limit transfers to / from exchanges and not between your own accounts


So always good to have multiple bank accounts
