How to store your crypto assets properly? 🔐
ㅤ
Many of our subscribers are still "new to cryptocurrencies". And especially for you we prepared a post with basic rules of handling and storing your crypto.
1️⃣ Seed-phrase
We all know that when we create a wallet, we get a Seed-phrase that gives us access to the wallet on any device. But are we handling it correctly?
We can assume that most of you have the seed-phrase stored in your notes on your phone or computer. You should not do so, because your phones can also be attacked. And we're not just talking about hacking.
Your phone or laptop can be stolen, and if there is information about your crypto-purse inside, the loss can greatly exceed the value of the device itself.
In our opinion, the most correct way to keep a seed-phrase, even in spite of the digital age, is a piece of paper, which you leave in a safe or other secluded place. You can learn it, of course, but we wouldn't recommend being so sure of your memory.
2️⃣ Hardware wallets
An additional safeguard against hacking and stealing funds from your wallet can be the use of so-called "cold" wallets, which are not online and are offline until you need them. They are ideal for storing your tokens. You can always plug in the wallet and make the transactions you need, and the rest of the time your tokens will be safe.
We would recommend choosing between Ledger and Trezor.
Buy cold wallets only from official manufacturer sites. Marketplaces, online stores (even large ones), classifieds sites, and even more so used devices can pose a risk to your funds.
3️⃣ Exchanges
Let us mention that you should not keep large amounts of their funds in the centralized exchanges. At any time the exchange can be subject to hacking, or any failure, or the exchange can impose restrictions on your account, thereby blocking your funds.
Keep on exchanges only necessary minimum for trade/exchange, and use only trustworthy and large exchanges.
The major exchanges are Binance, Huobi, ByBit, Gate.
4️⃣ Stablecoins
We all use stabelcoins until we decide to invest somewhere else. Our main advice is don't keep all your money in one type of stabelcoin.
Split the amount among several stabbles, thus diversifying the risks (even though the risks are minimal, but we all remember the UST case.).
❔ In the first part of this post, we only covered the basics. We can prepare the second part, in which we will tell about spam from projects to personal messages and Email, fake sites of projects, deception on OTC-platforms and etc. Would you be interested in such content?

NFT in the Bitcoin network - a new hype 🙅♂
⠀
You put a lot of reactions to the post about "Bitcoin ecosystem". Which means it's time to dive a little deeper and explore the Ordinals protocol. Some of the words in the post may not be clear to you. But remember, you can always ask a question in the comments and we will try to answer it as extensively as possible!
➡️ A new Bitcoin Ordinals protocol has made it possible to add pictures to the bitcoin blockchain. The creator of the protocol, Casey Rodarmore, calls them "digital artifacts.
Many analysts criticize this "update" because the pictures increase the load on the network and increase the cost of transactions. The hype around this story is growing because many people want to get NFT on BTC network without thinking too much.
➡️ Speculators are already launching their collections. The number of picture mines is growing rapidly. First of all, high-profile collections are launched, for example with bitcoin punks or domain names.
Here are a few already existing projects:
⚫️BitcoinShrooms - first 100 entries created, could potentially be a top story.
⚫️InscribedPepes - collection of 69 pictures of Pepe the Frog, traded above 1 BTC, you may encounter fake sales.
⚫️BTCToadz - created up to 5,000 entries, includes 111 frog pictures.
⚫️Punks On Bitcoin - collection with a saple of 10K.
↪️ In a wave of hype, the number of collections is likely to grow in the near future, and the crypto media will fuel interest. But this story could end quickly, as the mint process here is very complicated and the number of buyers is limited. Be sure to do your analysis before you buy something, there is enough scam here as well.
❔ By the way, since we mentioned analysis. Would it be useful for you to study the methods of project analysis? (in other words - how to do your own analysis?!)

🔹 Ethereum upgrade: good and bad news in one
Yesterday, the Shapella upgrade was implemented into the Goerli testnet. The developers wanted to ensure that everything was running smoothly and that Ethereum users could withdraw their staked ETH without any issues.
🛑This was the last Ethereum testnet where such a hard fork was going to be carried out. Unfortunately, it wasn’t executed without issues, since a few validators simply forgot to update their client software.

✍️ Banking crisis impacts Federal Reserve decisions!
Due to the situation with banks in the US, as well as the assessment of the state of the 30-day futures on the Fed's bonds, the reputable CME exchange had changed its own estimate of the likelihood of the next interest rate hike.
🗣Now, the probability that the Fed will halt rate hikes on March 22 is 60%.
Previously, an increase of 25-50 basis points was expected. Yet the "Doctor Fed" may realise that his treatment is burying the patient (the market).

⚡️Ethereum core developers are targeting April 12 to release the highly-anticipated Shanghai-Capella upgrade, or Shapella, on the mainnet.
The main feature of the upgrade is Ethereum Improvement Proposal (EIP) 4895, which aims to enable validator staking withdrawals on the main network. This critical function was not introduced during Ethereum's switch to a proof-of-stake consensus in September to ensure a safe transition.
Besides the withdrawals, developers have also planned three additional improvements aimed at optimizing gas costs for certain activities with the Shapella upgrade.
The upgrade is due to take place on April 12 at 10:27 a.m. UTC, with epoch number 620,9536, core developers said at a meeting on Thursday.
