Alphabet Seeks to Raise $80B for AI Infrastructure

Google parent Alphabet plans to raise up to $80 billion in equity to fund AI infrastructure and global compute, citing customer demand that exceeds available supply. The structure combines a $30 billion underwritten public offering, a $40 billion at-the-market program, and a $10 billion private placement to Berkshire Hathaway.

The raise is a unique move for Alphabet that historically funded itself through cash flow and bond issuance. It signals that AI infrastructure funding requirements outgrown conventional financing channels, with Alphabet guiding 2026 capital expenditure to $180B-$190B.

Gnosis Investigates Active Exploit Affecting Gnosis Pay Users

Gnosis co-founder and CEO Martin Koppelmann confirmed an active exploit involving Gnosis Pay, tied to the Zodiac “delay module.” He said Gnosis is working to contain the incident and will cover all user losses.

According to Koppelmann, the attacker can initiate transactions from Safe wallets that have the delay module enabled. As part of the response, Gnosis is asking bridge validators to pause to help limit further damage.

Koppelmann also noted he deleted an earlier post that urged users to withdraw EURe and GNO, saying most users won’t be able to withdraw anyway while containment is underway. He reiterated that users will be made whole regardless of outcome.

Gnosis Pay is built on Safe’s smart contract wallet infrastructure, but the issue is described as being within the Gnosis Pay system, not Safe’s core contracts. The incident comes shortly after a separate third-party module exploit impacted dozens of Safe wallets.

LAB Accused of CEX Manipulation as Market Cap Hits $5.7B

LAB is back in the spotlight after an onchain investigation alleged continued CEX price support via coordinated market-making, with the token pushed to ~$5.7B market cap (~$14B FDV) and a top-22 ranking.

Key red flags cited include opaque token distribution (different floats reported across major trackers), unilateral vesting changes, and repeated private OTC/loan deals at steep discounts that create hidden future supply. The ZachXBT estimates insiders may control >95% of supply, meaning price can be “managed” until unlocks/OTC cliffs hit.

The thread also points to wallets allegedly linked to buybacks, loans, and CEX deposit addresses, plus large insider deposits to Bitget addresses in March–April 2026. It claims ~100M LAB was later withdrawn to multiple fresh addresses, with spot activity allegedly concentrated on Bitget while other venues (incl. Binance perps/Alpha and Gate) amplify the trend.

Gravity Bridge Loses $5.4M in Suspected Key Compromise

Gravity Bridge was drained of ~$5.4M early Saturday after an attacker pushed unauthorized withdrawals through the bridge’s signing layer. The team halted operations while investigating.

Stolen funds include ~$4.3M USDC, $553k in wrapped ETH, $434k USDT, and $64k PAXG. Part of the haul moved through ChangeNow and Binance, with ~2,100 ETH (~$4.23M) still in the attacker’s wallet.

Researchers suspect a compromised signing key with no contract bug involved. April logged the most crypto exploits in a single month on record, with bridge key failures as a primary driver.

Court Forces Circle to Freeze $12.6M in Zama's cUSDC Contract

Circle blacklisted the Ethereum contract behind Zama's confidential USDC (cUSDC) on May 30, locking 12,606,386 USDC. The freeze stems from a class action suit filed May 28 by three OVN-holding funds against Overnight Finance founder Maxim Ermilov, alleging he moved more than $15.7M from treasury wallets.

Because cUSDC is a wrapper holding the USDC that backs every confidential token holder, blacklisting the contract froze the entire pool rather than single deposit.

Zama CEO said the protocol received no advance notice and that its contract was "caught in a crossfire" of an unrelated case.

TON's Native Token Rebrands to GRAM in Fresh Network Upgrade

TON's native token is officially being rebranded from Toncoin (TON) to Gram (GRAM), bringing back the original name introduced in TON's first white paper. According to Pavel Durov, the transition is expected to take around three weeks, while TON will remain the name of the blockchain.

The rebrand comes as TON begins its Make TON Great Again (MTONGA) roadmap. As part of the first major upgrade, the network has become 10× faster, with a 6× increase in block production speed and sub-second transaction finality.

TON has also completed the next stage of the initiative, reducing transaction fees by up to 6 times, making onchain activity significantly cheaper for users and developers.

The upgrades are part of a broader seven-step plan aimed at improving scalability, usability, and adoption across the Telegram-linked ecosystem.
