Sorry, but there is plenty of other places I would deposit my money for only recieveing a 9% annual interest rate.
Let's don't forget the 2 incidents Hype had in March and April.
i am wrapping it up with on-chain trading, for the foreseeable future. the more i think about it the more i feel like its perma cooked. it never felt as bad as it feels now. every single meme has been tokenized, every narrative has been exhausted, ceilings are becoming smaller and smaller.
i was vocal during ai meta that i don't think we will see multi b runners like DOGE and SHIB again and that 1b is the iron ceiling for most coins. this held true, only a few coins could pierce through this ceiling and hold above it for a considerable amount of time. now this ceiling seems to be 100m. euthanasia rollercoaster.
+ seeing tweets like "after memecoins, normal jobs feel pointless. we can just generate money by aping shitters" is highly alarming to me. brings us back to the marginal buyer. who is the marginal buyer for chicken banana, cat coin no.34 or titcoin? meme coins have pierced into mainstream culture, people came into the casino and most lost their money. who is left? its incredibly crowded. i think there is not much juice left.
i will move on and try my hand in other areas of trading. going back to the drawing board with an open mind and willingness to learn and start as a beginner again. will be a rocky road probably but i also think i have acquired lots of transferable skills (risk management, bankroll management).
that said, if i see things change i will be right back in the trenches. as i often say, ability to adapt and execution are the only persistent edges. see you in the order books.
