Due to constant downwards pressure of market conditions it is no longer viable to keep The Crypto Prophecies game running. The team have worked hard to innovate and constantly deliver above and beyond our road map scope but sadly our runway has run out.

The TCP markets will be gracefully delisted on exchanges.

The Crypto Prophecies game will be available to play for the remainder of December 2022 and then switched into maintenance mode where it will stay until the next bull run 🤞

This should give users enough time to withdraw any NFTs and assets they have in the hot wallets.

The team are naturally upset by the current circumstances but have all thoroughly enjoyed building a fun game that many have enjoyed and profited from.

We’ll be back soon.

I still think the main reason this game didn't catch on (besides unlucky market timing) is that it was too unfair playing against fully loaded founders or legendaries. Of course no newbie, or even myself, wants to keep gambling their own money when they lose 4/5 games. If you really wanted to attract players there should have been a version with no items so it's completely fair and only skill/luck based, not on how much you invested in your NFTs. @Paul_Lindsell

we had some fun 'no equipment' battles for sure, but with this there is no ability to get one over on your opponent, no ability to customise your game play or skills.

Had we more financial runway, we could have explored a game mode for this, or a tournament for this.

But I don't agree this was a main reason the game hasn't caught on sir.

Like Philipe said, there were many advances in the game and game modes to allow new players to play without investing heavily in NFTs or taking any risk. All of which were designed to give players a taster of better equipment and reason to upgrade.

even with a loaded prophet, you still need to make the right prediction. It's not 100% guarantee players will win. I own a founders prophet, and I personally lost so many battles against common and uncommon prophets.

Besides, there is the Battle the Oracle game mode, which is very low risk, and people can play a number of free games daily, so virtually zero risk.
On top of that, there is the NFT staking hotel so people can get even more value based on their investment in the game,
not to mention the mini-games and so on... so.... clearly, there is no lack of things to do and ways to play on TCP that gives us a really good chance to build a postive win/loss ratio, therefore nicely balancing out the fariness aspect of the gaming experience.
