Conclusion :- Splits between U.S. Department of Justice prosecutors are delaying the conclusion of a long-running criminal investigation into the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange Binance.
The investigation began in 2018 and is focused on Binance's compliance with U.S. anti-money laundering laws and sanctions. Binance has hired a former chief of MLARS, Kendall Day, a partner at Gibson Dunn, to engage in discussions with the Justice Department. Day met with Justice officials in Washington in recent months, three of the people said. Officials discussed with Day a possible resolution to the case out of court, whereby suspects would potentially plead guilty or pay a fine.

Bitcoin Dominance has been trading inside 40%-48% range since May 2021. Currently Trading at bottom of range and a move from here to mid range or Range high will cause blood in ALT/BTC Pairs.
There is plenty of fear in the crypto market since Sam Bankman Fried's digital assets exchange, FTX, went bust, so much so that digital assets have decoupled from the risk revival in traditional markets. Yet bitcoin's (BTC) dominance rate or the top cryptocurrency's share in the total crypto market has held steady at around 40%, contradicting its record of rising sharply during times of stress.
BTC has not outperformed the downside in recent months, so investors no longer view it as a safe haven. More broadly, the events of November 2022 have shaken the confidence of a lot of investors in this space. In prior cycles, investors would move into BTC to protect the downside when the market fell off. But because of the size of this year's scandals and their far-reaching impacts, a lot of investors aren't moving to BTC because they're just leaving the space entirely. Considering this, if Dominance breaks support and manage to fall below 40%, it'll probably indicate some other Major Crypto like ETH or Even BNB might flip Bitcoin in coming years.
