#BTC_Update Primary Macro Analysis
Since volume is dryer than a pizza crust, let's take a moment to zoom out and see where we sit currently on the macro side of things.
👉 Scenario #1: As per usual, we could still be working on the ABC, with the continued narrative of a 5-wave impulse to the upside. The market is still trying to figure out which side it will break to, but it needs to be very soon and swift to continue the extension on the medium timeframe. Nested structures need to have continued layers of shallow pullbacks and 3rd waves should be very strong w/ volume. This is still the strongest scenario for the time being, but the longer we continue to correct in these regions, the probability from a percentage perspective, starts to drop day by day. I'm also open to the idea of having a 1-2/1-2 for the beginning structure of our current C wave that we are in, but I personally don't like to assume them as the nesting internal structures are difficult to count and unreliable unless done by hindsight.
The only drawback to this scenario is that it seems like everyone might seeing this same idea. That is where scenario #2 comes in to help further validate whether a bear market will continue or not.
👉 Scenario #2: Instead of having an ABC, we can replace it with a WXY. To me, this looks structurally more correct from a distribution and correction perspective. It gives the current impulse to the upside a needed relief as we also can count a pretty clear 5-wave impulse to the upside for a wave A.
It would also fit the narrative of a bearish rally for the years 2023-2024 that we have been looking for since 2022, and this could be a great finisher. By having a medium timeframe WXY, it would most definitely show that with each pullback we had throughout the year, it would be considered working in a corrective and distributive manner instead of a final impulse as a C wave. Remember, the drawback to scenario #1 is that we have to continue to find how long these extensions will last - this scenario helps resolve that. We could easily hit the same targets as scenario #1, but this scenario would be far more interesting to have with one more pullback for an internal wave B into 29-30K and give a much more confident trade once we do reach the targets of wave Y.
👉 Scenario #3 (not shown): The only bullish interpretation is the continued impulse to the upside into new ATH's. Just replace the A-B wave with a 1-2. Simple as that.
