Binance has barred former CEO Changpeng Zhao aka CZ for life from running the company confirmed by CEO Richard Teng — The DOJ agreement doesn't explicitly prevent CZ's future return as CEO, but Binance states he's barred from management under the terms of the agreement.
⊷ Following the plea deal, Zhao said he had no intention of being a CEO of any sort going forward and that he will focus on investing in blockchain, AI, and biotech companies.
⊷ Some original reports of the plea deal said he would be barred for three years due to language in a DOJ memo.

⊷ The vulnerability was discovered within the Infineon cryptographic library used by most YubiKey products, including the YubiKey 5, Yubikey Bio, Security Key, and YubiHSM 2 series devices.
⊷ The attacker would need physical possession of the YubiKey, Security Key, or YubiHSM, knowledge of the accounts they want to target, and specialized equipment to perform the necessary attack,” the company said in its security advisory. “Depending on the use case, the attacker may also require additional knowledge including username, PIN, account password, or authentication key.” But those aren’t necessarily deterrents to a highly motivated individual or state-sponsored attack.
