🇦🇪 DEX, cross-chain bridges, DeFi protocols, stablecoins and Web3 infrastructure are officially under the supervision of the Central Bank of the UAE.

The new law «Federal Decree Law No. 6» expands the powers of the Central Bank and makes any operations with digital assets part of financial activities.

Main:

➠ «We are just a code» is no longer considered an excuse. Even decentralization does not exempt from the requirements of the government (license).
➠ Any cryptocurrency services with payments, exchange, storage or transfers require a Central Bank license.
➠ Fines for work without a license - up to $272m + possible criminal liability.
➠ Self-custody is not prohibited - the requirements apply only to companies.
➠ Transition period - until September 2026.
