Hello,
Unfortunately, the Exam Notification has not provided any closure on how to consolidate the older crimnal laws and the new ones. Therefore, the following is recommended;
1. Ideally, the best course of action would be a reference to new and old sections while addressing provisions and case laws.
2. If not possible then, while just quoting just bare provisions, new sections can be mentioned, and while referring to case laws, older sections can be mentioned.
3. Though CrPC/BNSS is NOT in the syllabus per se, plea bargaining is, which requires respective provisions for CrPC/BNSS to be referred to. The same scheme as above is recommended.

Also, with ZERO class postponements, and consistent class attendance, we are raging everyday :)
