Urgent : Due to a back end of non availability of slot today, the Magna Carta Mains 2023 class has been pushed to tomorrow. Please note the following :

1. Tomorrow's Class (12 July 2023) : Shall be conducted from 11 a.m. till 5 p.m. so that we can finish Governance tomorrow itself, and then begin as well finish Social Justice this week itself as per our schedule.

2. The Polity Sectional Test shall conducted on 13 July 2023 between 2 pm and 5 pm. Both Offline and Online students can come attempt the test. As discussed in class, the syllabus shall entail the entire syllabus of Polity except Bodies and RoPA (as they are to be covered collected in Governance). Will also release the test on Telegram itself, if you are attempting the test, do not open the file before you actually attempt the test.

Though this is an organisational error, apologies for the incovinience.

Good Morning,

Urgent: I have been informed that there is a technical infrastructural issue wherein the class recording of Magna Carta (Mains) 2023 for the online students is being erratic.

Consequently, the lecture scheduled for today at 11 a.m (25 June 2023) shall be conducted tomorrow i.e. 26th June 2023 at 11 a.m. so that we cover up within a day without disturbing the rest of the schedule.

There is no change in the rest of the schedule as the technical snag is being fixed today iself.
I have personally sent emails to everyone enrolled as well.

Please note that all appointments scheduled for today shall also be moved to tomorrow at the same time as well.

Greetings!

In the context of receiving a lot of communication pertaining to answer writing and evaluations as a whole for Mains 2023, these are the two recommendations I can vouch for.

1. Dr. Shivin Sir’s course on approaches to answer writing. His thematic structuring and templates is one of the finest.
2. Asif Sir’s Mains Test Series & Evaluations (He is currently at Next IAS). There is no better feedback than his as far as Mains Tests are concerned.

I would take care of approaches and evaluations personally for GS II as a part of the upcoming Magna Carta (Mains) 2023 but for other subjects and Mains as a whole, both of the above teachers and their offerings are truly exceptional.

It has been brought to my attention that the CSAT Paper of UPSC CSE 2023 was unreasonably tough and breached the syllabus guidelines. Prima facie, the paper does look disproportionately tough and exceeds the syllabus. Before I can advise or proceed on a legal recourse, I would like to understand this better. Good Evening,
A lot of students while filing DAF I for Mains 2023 reached out with regards to non possession of final degree certificate.
If you do not have the final degree certificate from your institution and getting the same at the moment isn't feasible then you can attach the provisional certificate and/or final trascript issued by your institution.
The UPSC had restricted some candidates from appearing in the Mains and Interview over the last two years over the same issue and my legal team and I had sought SC's intervention in both these matters in 2021 and 2022. While the SC ruling in our favour, had directed the UPSC to allow candidates to appear in the Mains or the Interview even if they do not currently posses the final degree, the said judgement was a specific direction and not a precedent. This is indicative in the sense that non possesion of the final degree certificate currently shouldn't be an issue.

Update :

Good Evening,

In response to a lot of requests pertaining to Magna Carta (Mains 2023) timings and opportunity to write tests, please find the following below :

1. From 28 June 2023, Magna Carta (Mains 2023) shall be held from 2 pm onwards. The venue (Unacademy Classrooms, Croma Building, Plot 3B, 3rd Floor, Pusa Road, Karol Bagh, New Delhi) shall remain the same for offline students.

2. Most importantly, on the rest of the days of the week when we do not have a class, students enrolled in Magna Carta (Offline and Online) can come to classroom during the class hours slot (2-5 pm) and write any tests they wish to.

Basically, the venue from 2 - 5 pm soley belongs to Magna Carta (Mains) 2023.
