That actually makes a lot of sense, Vietnam and China share a ton of cultural history, so it’s not surprising that some of the food, traditions, and lifestyle vibes you enjoy overlap. But yeah, mainland China’s internet censorship would definitely be a big issue. Taiwan might be a great middle ground, similar culture, good food, interesting history, and from what I’ve heard, way more open and convenient for foreigners. A lot of people say it has the good parts of Chinese culture with more freedom and a slower, more relaxed pace.
You might end up loving it. Let me know when you go there. BTW where is clockmaster, xieve and the other guy from Syria. I miss you all man.

I love my life in Vietnam but I noticed that a lot of the things that i love here are coming from the Chinese culture. But I don't think I want to live in mainland china cause of the internet censorship. Yet want to move to a less touristy city
