Continue Before 🛐Importance of Salah🛐

✍ Prayer occupies a special position among other acts of worship (i.e. fasting, zakat...) because of the way in which it was enjoined.

Salah was not brought down to earth by an angel, rather Allaah wanted to bless His Messenger Muhammad (ﷺ) by taking him up to heaven and addressing him directly concerning the obligation of prayer. This is something that is unique to prayer among all the rituals of Islam.

Prayer was enjoined on the night of the Mi’raaj [Prophet’s ascent to heaven]

▪️ "Fifty daily prayers were enjoined to the Prophet (ﷺ) on the night of Isra. Then, it was reduced to five daily prayers.
Then, he was addressed as follows: ‘O Muhammad! These are five prayers and they are all (equal to) fifty (in reward) for My Word does not change.’"

This is indicative of Allaah’s love of prayer and its great status

Sending ṣalāh upon the Prophet ﷺ on Friday is better than on the rest of the days, and its night (Thursday night) is the best of nights. He ﷺ said, “Among the best of your days is Friday, so frequently send ṣalāh upon me therein.”

الصلاة على النبي ﷺ يوم الجمعة أفضل من بقيّة الأيام، وليلتها أفضل الليالي، قال ﷺ: (إن من أفضل أيامكم يوم الجمعة فأكثروا عليّ من الصلاة فيه)

ضِيَاعُ الْوَقْتِ أَشَدُّ مِنَ الْمَوْتِ لِأَنَّ الْمَوْتَ يَقْطَعُكَ عَنِ الدُّنْيَا وَضِيَاعُ الْوَقْتِ يَقْطَعُكَ عَنِ اللَّهِ⁣

Wasting time is more dangerous than death.

Death cuts you off from the life of the world. Whereas wasting time cuts off your opportunity to draw close to Allah⁣
[Al-Fawaid p. 31] ⁣

Age is a golden opportunity to improve provision deeds before Allah.
Age is the main asset for a Muslim to live well in the hereafter
⁣
Therefore, wasting time by getting lots of sleep or things that are not useful is an action that is very detrimental. ⁣
A Muslim who loves himself will only fill his time with useful things, both the benefits of religion in the form of rewards or the benefits of the world.
⁣
May Allah make it easy for the writer and all readers of this article to be good at making the most of their time and age. Aamiin. ⁣

🌟The Prophet ﷺ never slept after Fajar, Ramadan or ghair Ramadan.

Nothing kills productivity like waking up at 10am to start your day. The problem is that you had a good 2-5 hours during which you could have achieved maximized productivity, but you slept through it!

What time am I talking about? The time right after Fajr prayers. It is a blessed time that Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam (Peace be upon him) made dua for, He said: “O Allah, bless my Ummah in its early hours”.

💫Here are 6 ways to help you stay up after Fajr to become a beneficiary of blessings and success in shaa ’Allah:

1. Go to bed early and rest.

2. Pray Tahajjud

3. Perform the prescribed dhikr after Fajr

If you still have the urge to jump back into your warm comfy bed after Fajr, remember that the best extension of the prayer is the dhikr that you perform afterwards.

”The angels keep on asking Allah’s forgiveness for anyone of you, as long as he is at his Musalla (praying place) and he does not pass wind (Hadath). They say, ‘O Allah! Forgive him, O Allah! be Merciful to him.” (Bukhari)

Plus, the longer you stay up, the less likely you will go back to sleep (and the less likely you will be able to fall asleep).

4. Aim to pray Duha

Duha prayer is an extra voluntary prayer you can pray approximately 20 minutes after sunrise until 45 minutes before Zhuhr prayer.

5. Recite/reflect/memorize Quran

After Fajr prayer is an amazing time to be alone with the Quran. Before the day’s distractions set you off course, use this time to recite, reflect and memorize The Quran.

Establish prayer at the decline of the sun [from its meridian] until the darkness of the night and [also] the Qur’an of dawn. Indeed, the recitation of dawn is ever witnessed. (17:78)

6. Exercise

An early morning walk or stretches will get your blood moving and you will find that you have the energy to stay up and make the most of your day bi idhnillah.

-Damee saayinsii hadiisaatiin kitaaba baay'ee beekamaa ta'e "Jaami'al usuulii fi Al-nihaayaa" kan barreessan Ibnu Asiir nama qaama hir'uu turan.

-Imaam Ibnu Al-Jawziin baagdaad irraa ari'amanii jiru. Garuu, deemsa isaanii irratti karaa qiraatii Qur'aanaa torbaaniin sadarkaa guddaa argatanii jiru.

-Maalik Ibnu Owfi siree irratti du'an irra ciisaniiti walaloo hanga ammaatti nama ajaa'ibsiisu kan barreessan.

-Kanaafuu, Rakkoon yeroo si mudate roga gaarii rakkoo sanii ilaali.

​​🍂A Blind Man’s Love

A man married a beautiful girl. He loved her very much. One day she developed a skin disease. Slowly she started to lose her beauty. It so happened that one day her husband left for a tour. While returning he met with an accident and lost his eyesight. However, their married life continued as usual. But as days passed she lost her beauty gradually. Blind husband did not know this and there was not any difference in their married life. He continued to love her and she also loved him very much. One day she died. Her death brought him a great sorrow. He finished all her last rites and wanted to leave that town.

A man from behind called and said, “Now how will you be able to walk all alone? All these days your wife used to help you”. He replied, “I am not blind. I was acting because if she knew l could see her skin condition due to a disease, it would have pained her more than her disease. I didn’t love her for her beauty alone, but I fell in love with her caring and loving nature. So I pretended to be blind. I only wanted to keep her happy”.

Moral: When you truly love someone, you will go to any extent to keep your loved one happy and sometimes it is good for us to act blind and ignore one another’s short comings in order to be happy. The Beauty will fade with time, but heart and soul will always be the same. Love the person for what he/she is from inside, not from outside.
