✅ Pre-beta testing is complete!

🙏 We’re thankful to all VIP badge holders who took part in the testing and shared their feedback with us.

🔥 The main goal of pre-beta was accomplished: players were able to try different game roles and test in-game cooperation with other players. It was vital for us to see how in-game mechanics worked on blockchain. Since all went well we’re getting ever closer to the launch!

🚀 Pre-beta launch was really helpful as we also identified multiple points for improvement. In the next few weeks we will be busy implementing them and getting everything ready for the main event: beta launch of DeepMine.

📝 Pre-beta launch diary

🚀 It's been 24 hours since the first participants descended upon the surface of Eleazar. The DeepMine team was around all this time to watch and listen. The point of this launch is to test all the stuff behind the curtains to check that all the smart contracts are performing as expected.

Pre-beta will be running until Monday, so if you’re a VIP card holder, you can be a part of this experience too! Visit #🍸-vip-lounge for further instructions.

Then the role of the engineer will be fully integrated, and the team will work on streamlining the interface in preparation for Beta.

DME Generation: Ejection and Saturation

At first, the planet Eleazar seems quiet and uninhibited.
However, this impression is wrong.
There is always movement. There is always noise. Mines are producing those as miners use their equipment to excavate the most valuable resource of the planet: the DeepMine Energy.
Eleazarians are working together to complete the ultimate quest: saving life on their planet.
This united effort is not a haphazardous one. There is a clear strategy driven by economics.

Mechanics: Part 1

We’re starting with the very basics of the DeepMine in-game economics.

Eleazar consists of deepmineworld/deepmine-metaverse-worldbuilding-episode-1-areas-da0b5c2b28fc">Areas: lands where deepmineworld/deepmine-metaverse-worldbuilding-episode-2-mines-c29d22bb1093">mines are located. Each Area has 10 separate Depth Levels. These are the layers of earth where the energy (DME) is stored. According to the planet’s physics, DME is ejected every 20-28 hours.

After ejection, DME spreads on each Depth Level, initiating the process of saturation. The amount of DME saturated is calculated for each Depth Level separately.

Here’s how the calculation is done: the amount of DME depends on the total power generated by the deepmineworld/deepmine-metaverse-worldbuilding-episode-4-equipment-3cf566fa64e0">Equipment of all the Contractors during the previous Ejection at a particular Depth Level. In other words, Contractors need to work hard today to get more DME into Depth Levels during Saturation tomorrow. Also, the amount of DME depends on the Area’s rarity: the higher the rarity, the higher % of DME will be saturated there.

Saturation allows players to adjust their strategy in response to an increase in the activity/number of players or upgrades of their Equipment.

In part 2, we will cover everything related to mines and mine owners, going into more details about interconnection between each element of the DeepMine economics.

DeepMine Roles: Engineer 👨🛠

Besides the roles of Landlord, Mine Owner, and Contractor, which we’ve already told you about, there are other game roles and specialties in the DeepMine Multiverse. Let’s explore the latter. Currently, there are three specialties in DeepMine: Engineer, Geologist, and Scientist. Let us introduce you to the Engineer game role.

Traditionally engineers are considered one of the key personalities behind the technological progress of mankind. But here on Eleazar, the role of engineers is much wider. The survival of all Eleazarians (or even humanity?) depends on them.

Players with the Engineer’s role can research and develop unique upgrades for other players and receive rewards for their labor.

Engineers are passionate mechanics who ponder every day over how to move technology forward. Engineer's skills allow improving mining machinery.

🛠 The Engineer Certificate allows the player to produce NFTs to apply upgrades to the mining equipment, mine modules, and mines.
🛠 To become an Engineer, the player needs to collect nine pages of an Engineer's Diploma and exchange them for an Engineer Certificate with the Government.
🛠 Engineer can own several Engineer Certificate NFTs, but only one can be active.
🛠 Engineer interacts with scientists by getting upgrade schemas from them.

This week the repair system was fully integrated, so now all the essentials needed at the beginning are in place.

The Government of Eleazar is glad to present the new game screen "Wastelands". Those who joined the previous DeepMine Day live have already seen it. Now it's your turn!

This is a special game screen for Contractors and Mine Owners. Due to game roles' specifics, most of their business activities are outside the city. So the purpose of the Wastelands is to serve as the transition screen to their cabins. Wastelands is where the path to the Core really begins.
