🤙 Hi miners, we know you missed our recap of the last DeepMine day, but oops, it took us a bit long to process it. There we go:

🗣 The 8th edition of the DeepMine Day was historical as we streamed live to Twitch, YouTube and Twitter.

🔸 First part of the stream was dedicated to the AMA session with Yaroslav.
Here’s a recap of the most important things discussed:

❓ What’s happening with the DME output?

We’re working on the balance and it’s not a quick process, because after each implementation of a change or a different scenario time is required to gather and process data. you have to wait at least a few days for the result.

The important thing to remember: everyone is operating on level 0 now, so the output here is not demonstrative as it will increase with the level progress. Also, the most active accounts/players can expect airdrops from the Government, so your activity in the game will be rewarded.

❓ What's the benefit of being a Landlord right now?

The most important reasons for owning an area are:
▶️ it’s the most scarce item in the game;
▶️ this role doesn’t require DME to progress.

This will become even more valuable at the later stage of the game as the outputs will grow.

❓ When is the Engineer role expected in the game?

The tests continue for the role of Engineer, in-game introduction is expected by the end of this month.

❓ What do you think about launching a rewarding system (for example, where Landlords reward players for using their areas)?

It’s not easy to implement something like this because DeepMine is 100% an on-chain game, and every function you’re adding affects everything else. We are considering building an extra layer of meta-game activities that are related to the game but are not part of it. For example, each time you perform an activity that contributes to the game progress (signing a contract, etc.) you’ll be rewarded with a "reward token". Similarly, we’ll be able to create other meta-activities like tournaments and raffles. This development will be performed by another team so that it won’t create delays in DeepMine’s main team schedule.

❓ What are the next steps for DeepMine?

👉 Introducing the Engineer role;
👉 Equipment, areas, mines rental system;
👉 Prolongation of contracts;
👉 «User-friendly» errors: aside from just being informed about an error, you’ll get a solution on how to fix that error.

These are just a few things we plan to implement in the next two months.

🔸 The second part of the DeepMine Day featured Petobots and the project’s exciting news:

☑️ The team is developing three games; the alpha of the first one will be released at the end of February (Gladiator Battles);
☑️ Petobots will be on Polygon and BNB Chain (aside from the utility NFTs will have on WAX);
☑️ Teaser and trailer will be released soon;
☑️ Soon we’ll officially announce the launch on one of the popular marketplaces.

🎮 The game has undergone an update which includes:

- Repair cost decrease for all the equipment
- Lowering of the breakdown possibility for all the equipment except for the common one done by the expansion of the minimal breakdown possibility zone. (Note: until the next update current graphical indicator might not be showing the updated spectrum)
- Change of the Mine slots available on Areas as per landlord vote. If you have more slots activated, their amount will adjust after the end of the currently running contracts.

🌌 DeepMine Metaverse #1 — The unusual crates

📝 While the first Eleazarians are digging into the core during the closed beta release, and the dev team is busy with technical support, we finally have enough time to dive into the game lore and design archives. Today we're starting the articles series about the DeepMine multiverse.

🛸 Eleazar is a fascinating planet full of mysteries. It has many areas to research, and most of them conceal the planet's subterranean resources. Day by day, a small research team explored the planet's boundless surface: they hiked through the rock fields, glaciers, and space debris without any notable results. Until one day they reached the unidentified spaceship's remains.

📦 Unusual crates were found in their cargo and delivered to the best lab in Shelter City. Studies showed that they contain robotic creatures of unknown origin. Scientists have called them Petobots, but they are much more than robotic pets. Tests revealed they seem to be strong and intelligent, ready to help their new owners survive.

🎙 Service Market 2.0 is launched, and it’ll make your life on Eleazar much easier. The team will be adding new functions (i.e. area rarity display) to it gradually.

🔍 We have revamped the Service Market to simplify and streamline the contracting process. Here are some details about the update:

💲 Minimum contract fee

➖ By accepting the terms of the contract, the party responsible for DME output commits to paying at least the rate specified in this field. If a user fails to meet contract conditions, this sum will be withdrawn from their contract deposit.

🤝 Deposit to cover a contract fee

➖ Both counterparties deposit DME in the amount of a minimum contract fee. In case users fulfill the contract, the deposit will be fully returned. In case a contract is violated by one of the parties, their deposit or part of it will be transferred to the other party to cover the discrepancy with contract conditions.

📄 Contract expiration

➖ Any premature termination of the contract is considered a violation of contract terms and will result in the loss of the contract deposit by the violating party.

🚀 Hey miners! It's been a busy week at DeepMine and here's a rundown of what the team has been up to:

✔️ Team was working hard on getting the onboarding game up and running, and we're excited to launch it soon!
✔️ We've rolled up the game update to improve the balance and economy. Equipment repair costs have been decreased and the probability of equipment breakdown has been lowered. We've also decreased the number of mine slots available. Check it out: /channel/DeepMineWorldAnn/414

✔️ Increased number displayed items in the Warehouse is being tested and will be deployed within a couple of days.

🚀 Soft launch of beta is done - woohoo! That’s the biggest news of the week, obviously. First to disembark are the holders of the Golden+ VIP cards.
Now, the team is working closely with the first explorers of Eleazar to swiftly fix all the occurring bugs. Those first citizens go through some rough times while all the systems are being tuned, but we expect to start letting new expeditions next week, stay tuned for the announcements!

⚒ The team also worked on testing self-cycle (being a contractor on your own mine installed on your own area) and implementing systems of XP & stamina.
