🧑‍🎓 They’ve already got their Engineer certificates and right now they are in the process of learning the skills necessary for upgrading the equipment and mines.

🛠 There are still some cosmetic flaws in the Engineer’s workshop, but the upgrade process seems to run smoothly.

1️⃣ Let's start with yesterday’s DeepMine Day #9. In case you missed it, here's a brief rundown:

a) First, we talked a lot about the Engineer role and its impact on the game. To obtain the role, players need to collect nine distinct Diploma pages. There are two ways to get the pages: the daily Engineer Boxes raffle (mine every day to increase your chances) and the Daily Auction (place your bids: https://shelter.deepmine.world/Auction/). Boxes contain 1 of 9 Diploma pages each having an 11% chance of being pulled out and a 1% chance of being empty. If you have Diploma pages with the same number you can just trade with someone who has the same. When you have 9 distinct pages, you will be able to exchange them for the Engineer Certificate, which will allow you to use the equipment upgrade system!
b) We exclusively showed the Equipment Hall and the Skills Training screens. Both of them are already fully functional, and the team is finishing testing on the mainnet, so they will be pushed out very soon!
c) We raffled off 20 Engineer Boxes that contain Certificate pages, with 10 going to mine owners and 10 going to landlords that have been working on Eleazar for a long time. Now, let's move on to what the team has been focusing on this week:

2️⃣ This week the team has been working on the deployment of an Engineer. The role has already been introduced into the game with the first mine getting its upgrade. There are still some things to fine-tune before Engineers will be free to travel around the planet and upgrade mines and equipment.
3️⃣ There's also a big backend upgrade in the works that includes the Engineer role, a new Service Market, an Equipment stats display, and part of the Rent Market. All these things are interconnected, that’s why the team is taking their time and not rushing the features out separately. This will be a top priority for next week, and we'll keep you updated on the progress.

🛠 A new era dawns as the Engineers are getting ready to embark on the mission of accelerating the mining operation on Eleazar. The first step on the path to becoming an Engineer is to collect the 9 different Diploma Pages that can be exchanged for the shiny Engineer Certificate. Engineer Exchange Entity will be open very soon, so you better have all of those pages prepared.

🏛️ The Government recognizes loyalty in this harsh world. Therefore, it has decided that the most dedicated citizens shall have the privilege to become Engineers first. The Diploma Pages will be distributed in an attainable manner, ensuring that your unwavering commitment to Eleazar is rewarded.

📋 Collecting the Diploma Pages starts with scarce Engineering Supply Containers, available in the Auction House or through the raffle that shall commence next Monday, enduring for two weeks and will randomly grant one box daily to miners who've labored through the previous day.

📦 Each Container holds 1 of the 9 distinct pages, each bearing an 11% chance of being found. Beware the treacherous 1% chance of the box remaining empty, a cruel reminder of the capricious world you inhabit.

🚀🎮 Hey miners! Our traditional weekly update will be bigger than normal, because in addition to the team progress, we will have an announcement from the Government regarding the anticipated role of Engineer 🎮🚀

- There was a little bit of a battle after the WAX blockchain update, but the team has finally fixed all the issues and expects all the systems to run smoothly.
- Also, the team has launched a new blockchain node, so we will have double protection against desync issue in the future.
- In addition to that the team has finalized the blockchain and front-end integration for the Engineer role! Blockchain desync has put us a little bit behind, but as it is resolved, we are fully focused on bringing the Engineer to you asap.
- Our team has identified all the wallets affected by the previous game outage and will be distributing compensation early next week.

🚀 Hey Eleazarians, it's time for our weekly recap:

👷‍♂️ We're excited to announce that the Engineer role has been successfully integrated into the game. We encountered a few challenges during the first mine upgrade, but it has already been fixed and tested on the testnet and the mainnet update addressing this issue will be rolled out early next week. Following this update, the upgrading mechanism will be accessible to all mine and equipment owners!

📝 To give you a better understanding of how the upgrade mechanics will work from the mine owner perspective, we’ve added an article to our blueprint: https://docs.deepmine.world/deepmine/deepmine-game-mechanics/upgrades/mine-upgrade. We will be adding more information on mechanics from the engineer’s perspective soon.

👂 Now let’s hear from the Government regarding the upcoming role of Engineer:

The Government will soon be introducing a new role of the Engineer for the prosperity of Eleazarian society while reinforcing the efficiency of our state-sanctioned activities.

In order to become an Engineer and comply with Government regulations you have to obtain an Engineer's Certificate. To acquire this essential credential, you are required to collect 9 Diploma pages found in the special boxes to be added to the Store next week.

in the initial stages, due to the scarcity of resources needed for upgrades, only a few citizens will become Engineers.

As an Engineer, you will be assigned the duty of using specialized upgrade schemas to upgrade mines, individual pieces of equipment, or entire equipment sets, as directed by Government protocols. This will ensure the optimization of the mining and further progress towards the Core of Eleazar.

More information will be released as deemed necessary by the Government. Remain vigilant and await further instructions.
