According to Axios, the “secret nuclear proposal” drafted by the United States, which was presented to Iran on Saturday during a visit to Tehran by Oman’s Foreign Minister, allows limited low-level uranium enrichment by Iran to continue for a to-be-determined period of time, despite both Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff having said publicly that the U.S. will not allow them to continue enriching uranium and will demand that enrichment facilities be dismantled in Iran. This is likely to significantly anger Israel and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who have stated they will accept nothing less than the total dismantlement of Iran’s nuclear program, including its enrichment facilities, hinting at the need for future military strikes against Iran.

The Russian state-media network, TASS has released what is claimed to be Russia’s “peace proposal” which was presented today to the Ukrainian delegation in Istanbul, with the demands even crazier than previous deals that have been proposed by Russia. Some of the conditions of the proposal include:

- Full withdrawal of Ukrainian forces from Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia within 30 days of a ceasefire
- International recognition of Crimea, Donbas, and "Novorossiya" as part of Russia
- Ukraine’s neutrality
- Elections in Ukraine followed by a peace treaty
- Ban on redeployment of Ukrainian troops except for withdrawal
- Prohibition of nuclear weapons on Ukrainian territory
- Ban on Western arms and intelligence support

U.S. Special Envoy to Syria, Tom Barrack announces that the Trump administration has given its blessing, with transparency, to Syria for the integration of several thousand foreign fighters, many of whom previously fought for jihadist groups like Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), into the Syrian Army. The plan calls for the integration of roughly 4,000 foreign fighters, mainly Uyghurs from China and other countries in Asia, into a newly-formed unit, the 84th Division, which would also consist of and be led by Syrians.

42-year-old nationalist-conservative and historian, Karol Nawrocki has won Poland's weekend presidential runoff election by a slim margin of 50.89%, beating the Mayor of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski, who received 49.11%. Nawrocki in recent months had obtained support from U.S. President Trump, with Nawrocki supporters hoping that his election would allow closer relations between Poland and the United States. While seen as less of a supporter of the European Union, Nawrocki is a major supporter of NATO and has an immense hatred for Russia, stemming from his experience as a historian researching the atrocities that the Soviet Union committed in Poland. In recent years, Nawrocki even led efforts to topple monuments to the Soviet Red Army located throughout Poland.

The suspect who attacked several Israeli supporters at an event today in Boulder, Colorado with a Molotov cocktail, has now been identified by law enforcement as Mohamad Soliman. According to the Wall Street Journal, today’s large-scale drone attack by Ukraine against airbases across Russia, dubbed Operation Spiderweb, which is claimed to have destroyed over 40 long-range strategic bombers and other military aircraft, took over a year and a half to prepare by the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU). 

Ukrainian intelligence officials said the SBU smuggled dozens of small quadcopter drones into Russia, before then moving wooden containers into the country, which were used to hide the drones ahead of the operation against the Russian Air Force. When it came time to strike, the containers were placed on trucks and driven to locations close to each airbase, then the lids of the containers were opened remotely and the swarm of drones flew out to find their targets, most of which were Tu-95MS or Tu-22M3 Long-Range Strategic Bombers.
