As in the system - you need to set the palette from the wallpaper in the system.
From local wallpaper - the icons will change color to match the wallpaper, but widgets will not, so it is best to use as in the system.

To activate Monet on Samsung devices.

- Go into system settings

- Wallpaper and Styles

- Set your wallpaper > set the system color palette

- Now go into your launcher settings > look and feel (Nova Launcher) icons > select a Monet supported icon pack.

For stock Samsung launcher you have to apply icons through theme park (same steps)
