Zingy Vegan Avocado Dressing (Or Dip) - Dairy Free, Low Carb and AIP
Dressings
Ingredients:
3 medium (approx. 5 ounces each) avocados (this recipe is quite flavorful. If you prefer a more mild dressing, then simply add in another avocado)
1/8 cup lemon juice (or juice of 1 lemon. Lime works great too.)
1/4 cup olive oil
3 cloves garlic
2 teaspoons salt
3/8 cup water (add more for a thinner dressing)
1/4 cup fresh parsley (or 1 tablespoon dried. Cilantro is a great alternative.)
1/32 teaspoon stevia (basically a dash. See Recipe Notes and post for more info and alternatives.)
Directions:
Place all ingredients in a high-powered blender or food processor.
Combine until smooth.
Pour dressing over salad and mix to combine, or serve as a dip.

Chevre Bites: Cranberry & Toasted Almond Recipe
Ingredients:
• 10-12 oz. of chilled goat cheese aka ‘chevre’ (or TJ’s chevre log) (keep chilled to prevent sticking to your hands)
• 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped a bit finer with a knife
• 1/2 cup lightly toasted almonds (also toasted, salted pecans go nicely)
• 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon (cinnamon stabilizes blood sugar)
• 1/4 tsp. sea salt (optional, it adds minerals and just makes it taste even richer)
Optional, you could also use Michigan dried sweet cherries, apricot or date pieces; also consider pistachios or pecans in place of almonds!

DIY SUCCULENT GARDENS THAT INSPIRE
“I’ve rounded up some of the most stunning succulent gardens ever! While I don’t agree with the thought that succulents are easy to keep alive, I do agree that they are some of the most beautiful plants. The key to a gorgeous succulent garden is keeping them close together. I think they key to keeping them alive is drainage. There must be good drainage or the plants tend to easily rot. When drainage holes aren’t there, a thick layer of gravel is necessary at the bottom of a pot but watering should still be at a bare minimum. Succulents like lots of sun and don’t mind heat so while they can survive indoors, they prefer a bright, sunny place. Hope you enjoy this supplement round up!!” - author

How To Quickly Ripen Bananas In The Oven
1 Preheat your oven to 300° F.
2 Grab a bunch of bananas and separate out the amount you’ll need for your recipe. Leave the peels on.
3 Place the unpeeled bananas on a baking sheet with a little space between each one. If I’m going for “extra-extra ripeness,” I line the baking sheet with parchment paper just in case a peel splits and some of the banana leaks out.
4 Bake the bananas for 15-25 minutes. The time needed will depend on the size of the bananas and how ripe they were before baking.
5 When they’re ready, they’ll turn brown and be soft to the touch. Remove the brown bananas and allow them to cool before peeling.
