Virginia Governor Youngkin got it right when it comes to voting ballots with Executive Order EO35.
- 100% paper ballots for a physical record of voter intent, and TESTED paper ballot counting machines (not voting machines) & NOT connected to the internet
- Strict chain of custody and daily reconciliation during early voting
- Apply for mail in ballot rather than mass mailing them out
- Drop boxes under 24/7 monitoring
Here's what has already been done:
- Removal of almost 80k deceased voters from the rolls
- Require SSN, proof of identity, & proof of legal status
- Use National Change of Address database to identify voters who no longer live in VA
- Streamlining of process of removing deceased voters
- Comprehensive auditing of voter rolls
