According to a report in Moneycontrol, the popular messaging app is facing increasing scrutiny from the Indian government over its alleged role in facilitating criminal activities such as extortion and gambling. The Indian government too is reported to have launched an investigation into the platform, with the potential for a ban depending on the findings. According to the report, "The government is investigating Telegram over its alleged misuse in criminal activities such as extortion and gambling, a government official said, adding the messaging app could even be banned depending on the probe’s findings."

Assam Police apprehended three Bangladeshi nationals last night who entered India from the Tripura side. 35-year-old BSF officer has become the first CAPF officer to successfully complete the Ironman challenge, one of the toughest triathlon events across the globe.

Shri Harish Kajla, AC brings in laurels to the Nation and the Force by successfully completing Iron Man Challenge, held in Copenhagen, Denmark, becoming the first officer from CAPFs to successfully complete the challenge.

The Iron Man Challenge comprises of 3 mammoth events which includes, 3.8 Kms of Swim, 180 Kms of Cycling and 42.2 Kms Full Marathon. Cut-Off timing for the event(M35-39) was 15:45:00.

Sh Harish Kajla was able to complete the event and achieve this historic feat in time of 12:42:25.

Assistant Commandant Harish Kajla joined the country's largest border-guarding force in 2012. He is currently on deputation posting to the counter-terrorist commando force National Security Guard (NSG).
