Report: India has invited Pakistan and Bangladesh, among other neighbouring countries to participate in an 'undivided India' seminar being organised to mark 150 years of the India Meteorological Department. This is a first-of-its-kind initiative by the government to keep differences aside and celebrate the shared history of the Indian subcontinent in unison.

Pakistan has confirmed its participation, and a confirmation from Bangladesh is awaited.

Invites have been sent to Pakistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Afghanistan, Myanmar, Maldives, Sri Lanka, and Nepal. Besides the subcontinent, invitations have been sent to officials from the Middle East, central and Southwest Asia too.

62 Indian-manufactured vehicles are set to reach Lebanon for utilisation by the Indian contingent deployed in the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), an official statement by Indian Army said.

The fleet comprises High Mobility Troop Carriage Vehicles, Utility Vehicles (1 Ton and 2.5 Ton), Medium and Light Ambulances, Fuel Bowsers, and Recovery Vehicles, as per Indian Army.

Canadian PM Justin Trudeau  on Monday announced his resignation as Prime Minister and Liberal Party leader in the wake of rising discontent over his leadership.

Trudeau came to power in 2015 after 10 years of Conservative Party rule.“I intend to resign as party leader, as prime minister, after the party selects its next leader through a robust, nationwide competitive process. This country deserves a real choice in the next election, and it has become clear to me that if I’m having to fight internal battles, I cannot be the best option in that election,” Trudeau said at a press conference.

Report- Field Evaluation Trials of indigenously-developed Nag Mk 2, the third-generation Anti-Tank Fire-and-Forget Guided Missile, were successfully conducted recently at Pokhran Field Range in the presence of senior officers of the Indian Army. During the three field trials, the missile systems destroyed precisely all the targets - maximum and minimum range, thus validating its firing range.

The Nag Missile Carrier version-2 was also field evaluated. With this, the entire weapon system is now ready for induction into the Indian Army.

Haider Ali, who pretended to be an army officer on Instagram to befriend women and then exploit them sexually and financially, was arrested from Lucknow.

Haider Ali originally from Odisha, posed as a captain in the Army Medical Corps, to manipulate women into relationships and then steal cash and jewellery, police said. Beg was caught with army uniforms, badges, a fake army canteen card, and forged documents, including an Aadhaar card and PAN card.
