OpenAI has introduced a free online shopping feature → in ChatGPT, offering personalized product recommendations. The tool provides suggestions with images, descriptions, reviews, and direct purchase links.
The feature is available in the GPT-4o model and is rolling out to all users — even those browsing without logging in. It’s powered by ChatGPT’s upgraded web search, now one of the platform’s most popular tools.
Recommendations will cover popular categories like clothing, beauty, electronics, and home goods. OpenAI clarified that the results are ad-free and that the company does not earn commissions from purchases made through the platform.
