🇪🇺EU Imposes Penalties for Online Anti-Semitism
Since Saturday, the same laws that apply on the streets will apply in the European online world. The first constitution for the Internet is in force, with a control institute in every country. It is now all prohibited thanks to the new European digital services directive, the Digital Services Act (DSA). Not only is it banned, the rules will be enforced in every EU member state.
In short, all online platforms that employ more than fifty people and their turnover exceeds ten million euros, such as Instagram or Hotwire, are obliged to take measures if something illegal happens on their platforms. They need to know who is acting on their platform and publish this information to the authorities.

Kremlin Opposition Leader Navalny Dead:
Kremlin opposition leader Navalny has died in prison. According to the regional prison authorities he became unwell during a walk. There is no evidence that Navalny actually died while out for a walk. His mother saw him in a healthy state just four days ago.
The Kremlin said it had "no further information on the cause of death."

11,000-year-old wall discovered off German coast: may be oldest structure in Europe
Scientists at the University of Kiel in Germany conducted bottom surveys in the Baltic Sea and stumbled upon a row of 1,600 stones, more than a kilometer long and about a meter high, at a depth of 21m.
Everything indicates that the construction is the work of Stone Age hunter-gatherers. The row of stones probably served to trap reindeer between the water and the wall.
The wall was built parallel to the shore of what must have been a lake or marsh 11,000 years ago. About 8,500 years ago, at the end of the last ice age, the sea level rose and the landscape there was flooded.

79 years ago today, in an act of extreme cowardice, the allied forces terror bombed the German city of Dresden.
In four separate raids spanning across three days, the allies slaughtered up to 135.000 innocent German civilians and refugees.
Today we remember this cowardly act.

Belgian companies will have an easier time hiring foreign workers
The Council of Ministers approved a further expansion of the digital platform "Working in Belgium". State Secretary for Asylum and Migration Nicole de Moor (CD&V) and Minister of Health Frank Vandenbroucke (Vooruit) announced this. This should make the processing of an application to come and work in Belgium smoother.
The draft cooperation agreement in question will now be submitted to the Consultation Committee, in which the federal government and the federal states sit. Afterwards, the text will be sent to the Council of State.

Dutch Girl (17) Murdered by Black Man
Last Wednesday in the northern Dutch town Winsum, 17-year-old Jet was stabbed to death by Jamesley S. (19). This happened after a struggle, and a little later Jet was found at a playground near her house. She died from her injuries.

Syrian Immigrant Sexually Assaults Four 11-year-old Girls at a Dutch swimming pool
A now 29-year-old Syrian asylum seeker sexually assaulted four 11-year-old girls last year in Aqua Mundo, the swimming paradise of Center Parcs in the Dutch town Zandvoort. The man groped and squeezed the girls by their buttocks. With one girl, the man allegedly clamped his legs around her waist and pressed his genitals against her hip. The assault still has a major impact on the 11-year-old girl. According to her mother, she has become more anxious since the incident and no longer dares to go outside alone. The girl also says she has 'pictures' in her head and says she is traumatized.
A total of ten girls and women reported at the swimming pool that a dark man with arms full of tattoos allegedly touched or pinched them.
A prison sentence of only four months has been demanded against the suspect.

Two 17-year-old Refugees Raped a Dutch Woman in Oosterhout
The two refugees are suspected of raping and robbing a woman (39), also from Oosterhout. That happened on the night of Monday 29 to Tuesday 30 January. The crime is said to have taken place around a youth shack, a shipping container in the park. After the incident, the location was cordoned off with tape. The police investigated for hours. The site has been perceived as unsafe by local residents for a long time.
Their lawyer, Tommie Joris said: "It is a serious suspicion, but they are still young guys. The court makes a decision in the interests of the young people and in the interests of criminal proceedings. The statements have been completed, this is the court's decision.”
At the request of the lawyers, the two may await the hearing of their case in freedom. The court agreed to this, but under 'special conditions', including a no-contact order and cooperation in a DNA test.

Since yesterday, February 17th, the Digital Services Act (DSA) has become fully applicable within the European Union.
The law aims at combatting "hate speech and spreading disinformation" by creating EU-wide rules which have to be adhered to by companies like facebook and X. It also gives internet providers the ability to judge what content is considered illegal, and can be blocked.
Up until now, these laws were governed on a nationwide basis.

No Jailtime for Belgian Child Rapist:
The 31 year old actor and influencer Nicolas Caeyers, has been sentenced with no jailtime for the rape of 2 minors, aged 13 and 15.
Caeyers is known in Belgium for acting in and presenting multiple tv-shows aimed at children.
He has been sentenced with a 1-year prison sentence with a suspended period of 5 years, meaning that with good behaviour his prison sentence is likely to be waived.

The text on the magazine translates to "everything for you and your baby, from dummy to sex toy".

Activist convicted for projecting "Jews ran slavery"on building:
A 30 year old activist was convicted to 40 hours of community service today, after a judge ruled his action to be "antisemitic".
The activist projected the text, which stated "Jews ran slavery, Whites ended it" as a protest after hearing the anti-white remarks made by the Dutch King on our colonial past.
The brave activist appeared unshaken by the court decision, stating that he did not expect the statement to be illegal, and saw it as no more than a small act of rebellion.
