So you can tell him directly that right now V1 is being traded only on CB but it has no use so you can buy it directly from some other market.. I would prefer that for you. You should have told him this way..

Thank you. Please be this crystal clear with your replies and make sure all admins are on the same page - I am sure that is in the best interest of the project. We don’t want to encourage holding/trading v1 token on some cex where migration is uncertain but leave the final decision up to the users.

If it’s uncertain then it’s better to mention that it may or may not migrate and leave it up to the investors to decide for themselves. Saying that it is yet to migrate gives a different meaning and doesn’t convey what you just said.

We actually always say the support depends on CB. My colleague might have used another word due to busy chats because of multiple queries. But if you read many previous answers, we always say it depends on CB. Thought thanks for the advice, we will be mote careful next time.
