There’re different kinds of prayer, and the prayer of agreement is one of them. The Lord Jesus said, “…if two of you agree down here on earth concerning anything you ask for, my Father in heaven will do it for you” (Matthew 18:19 TLB). This is a principle! To put this principle to work, you must do two things, which are: two or more people must agree, and both of them must be on earth.

Therefore, you and your friend who believe in Jesus Christ and His Word can come together, and decide that you want a change, and He’ll have it done for you. You can change your situation today; two of you can do it!

Today’s opening scripture is talking about an immensely powerful weapon that you have. This weapon isn’t made of brass or iron. It’s not expensive to acquire. In fact, you were born with it! This weapon is your mouth!

Every time you release words with your mouth, you’re using a powerful weapon that’ll cut down such enemies as sickness, failure, and so on. For example, when you say: “I’m strong because the life of God is in me,” you’re cutting down weakness and sickness with your weapon. That’s why the Bible admonishes you to “use God’s mighty weapons…to knock down the devil’s strongholds” (2 Corinthians 10:4 TLB). So, use your mouth to create by saying whatever you want or don’t want!

How would it feel to have one medicine that can cure any sickness? It’ll feel good, right? The good news is that God has this super medicine. This medicine is so powerful that it can get rid of any flu, headaches, fever, pain, and every trace of sickness from one’s body. This medicine is God’s Word. It’s the best medicine in the whole world!

You can use this medicine every day. Take a full dose of the medicine as you diligently study and meditate on God’s Word. As you do, it’ll get into every fiber of your being, and keep you strong, and healthy always.

Love is the greatest force in the world. That’s why there’s no one that doesn’t respond to love. It’s the stamp and sign of a true Christian. The Lord Jesus showed His love for us by laying His life down for the world. He also wants us to love one another.

Remember, God’s love has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5). That means God’s love is in you, and He wants you to show it to others by loving them as He has loved you (John 13:35).

Therefore, I encourage you to be kind, caring, and helpful to those around you, especially to your brothers and sisters in Christ.

As a Christian, it’s important for you to pray for your friends and loved ones. The Bible tells us that we should pray for one another.

So, when you pray, don’t just pray for yourself; also pray and mention the names of your friends, family members, and schoolmates too.

Ask God to do something specific in their lives, and He’ll do it. God listens to, and answers the prayers of the righteous, and because you’re a righteous kid, He’ll answer every prayer you pray for your friends and loved ones.

In the military, a general outranks any other officer. This means that he’s superior, and must be obeyed by his juniors without being questioned.

Just as a general outranks a major or a corporal in the military, a Christian outranks any demon hatched out of hell, and that includes their leader, Satan. That means every devil must obey your instruction (Mark 16:17). When you tell a devil to go away in Jesus’ Name, it has to obey!

Whenever you tell the devil to come out of someone or to stop doing evil things around you, he obeys at once because you’re superior to him. Amongst all of God’s creation, you’re of the highest rank. The devil is under your feet; you’ve got power to cast him out anytime, and from anywhere.

Today’s memory scripture shows that the way to guard our lives in the right direction is by minding only the right thoughts. Therefore, don’t allow just anything into your heart; instead, fill your mind with God’s Word.

"Perfect Peace" as mentioned in today's memory scripture is a special kind of peace; it's peace with prosperity. Now that you're a child of God, this peace is already in your heart; you received it the moment you were born again.

Therefore, don't let worries take it away from your heart; instead, keep your thoughts on the Lord and His Word. Boldly take all your needs to Him in prayer, "Then God's peace, which goes beyond anything we can imagine, will guard your thoughts and emotions through Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:7 GW). Hallelujah!

Quiet times are special times to fellowship with the Lord in prayer. It’s at such times that you hear from the Holy Spirit, and receive direction on what to do. It’s best to have a quiet time when and where there aren’t any distractions. Jesus often did this too; He went away from everyone to be alone with His heavenly Father.

My quiet times with the Lord are my favourite times of the day. I don’t miss them for anything, and I encourage you not to miss yours too.

A policeman receives a lot of training before putting on his uniform, and resuming for duty. This training is to help him stay alert, and know what to do in every situation he faces. Right now, you’re receiving training like that policeman even as you study your Rhapsody of Realities for Early Readers, and your Bible. These important materials will build, and strengthen your faith to face the challenges, and situations of life.

So, make it a daily habit to study God’s Word, and be prompt to act on it too. That’s how to imbibe all you’re being taught.

In a race, there’re several runners but one prize. As the race begins, if a runner trips or falls, he won’t stay down and watch others run past him; instead, he’ll get up, and keep running. It’s the same attitude you should have about your Christian walk.

For example, if you made a mistake in your walk of faith, don’t sulk; rather, tell God how sorry you are, then move on. It’s that simple! Rather than beat yourself, get up, and keep going.

There’s a lot of good and pleasant things ahead for you. So, receive strength to keep moving forward and making progress. Glory to God!

One day, the Lord Jesus and His disciples were travelling on a boat when the weather suddenly changed. The storm was so bad that the boat began to sink. The disciples were scared, but the Lord was asleep.

So, they woke Him. Then the Lord simply spoke to the raging wind, commanding the storm to be still, and the Bible says there was a great calm.

If you’re facing any situation that’s troubling you like the storm troubled the disciples, speak to it just as the Lord spoke to the storm, and it’ll obey you; and there’ll be a great calm all around you. Hallelujah!

The Christian life is referred to as “the great confession.” This doesn’t mean confessing sins; instead, it’s about speaking God’s Word, even when things seem tough. It means believing and saying what God says about you, no matter what you see, hear, or feel.

Do you remember the story of the Shunammite woman? She had just lost her only child. When Elisha asked her what was wrong, she said, “It is well.” Those words were the expression of her faith in spite of her situation. No wonder, she got her son raised back to life (2 Kings 4:26-37).

Like that woman, fill your heart with the Word of God; don’t stop talking it, keep saying it, and you’d surely have a testimony!

Before His death, Jesus was the only begotten of the Father (John 3:16). But after His death and resurrection, He became the first begotten of the Father (Revelation 1:5).

Jesus’ death and resurrection opened the way for everyone. Those who believe in Him and confess His Lordship are born again. At once, they become sons and daughters of the heavenly Father as well. And the Bible says that Jesus isn’t ashamed to call us His brothers and sisters. What’s more, our heavenly Father is proud and happy that He’s got many children who love Him.

You’re His cherished treasure. You don’t have to feel inferior in the presence of God anymore; you’re accepted and loved by the Father the exact same way He loves Jesus.

You were born into a life of glory and beauty, not of suffering, and pain. Therefore, I encourage you to declare the blessings of the Lord over your life, because that’s your inheritance as the King’s kid.
