✅ Design complete water and wastewater treatment systems, including containerized and skid-mounted units
✅ Develop MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) layouts and project layouts
✅ Prepare detailed P&ID drawings (Process and Instrumentation Diagrams) for both mechanical and electrical systems
✅ Create 3D models and detailed fabrication drawings for treatment units and equipment
✅ Perform hydraulic calculations, equipment sizing, and process simulations
✅ Ensure all designs comply with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements
✅ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop efficient, modular, and scalable treatment solutions
✅ Prepare technical documentation, BOM (Bill of Materials), and fabrication specifications
✅ Coordinate with fabrication teams and equipment suppliers

What We're Looking For

🎓 Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electromechanical Engineering

🛠 CAD & Design Software (Required):

* AutoCAD (2D/3D) - Advanced level
* SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor - 3D modeling and assembly design
* AutoCAD Plant 3D or AVEVA E3D (preferred for piping design)
* Microsoft Office Suite (Excel for calculations, Word, PowerPoint)

💧 Water Treatment Design Software (Preferred):

* EPANET - Water distribution system modeling
* GPS-X or BioWin - Wastewater treatment process simulation
* SWMM (Storm Water Management Model) - Drainage and wastewater modeling
* WaterCAD or SewerCAD - Hydraulic analysis and design
* WAVE (Bentley) - Water and wastewater network design
* AFT Fathom or AFT Arrow - Pipe flow and hydraulic analysis
* HYSYS or Aspen Plus - Process simulation (chemical treatment)

🔧 Technical Skills:

* Experience with MEP design and P&ID development
* Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes and equipment
* Understanding of containerized and skid-mounted system design
* Hydraulic and structural calculations
* Pumps, valves, piping systems, and treatment equipment selection
* Fabrication drawing preparation and shop drawing reviews

💡 Experience:

* 3-5 years of relevant experience in mechanical design for water/wastewater treatment (preferred)
* Proven track record in preparing technical drawings, 3D models, and project documentation
* Experience with technical office operations and project coordination

🌟 Soft Skills:

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Excellent problem-solving abilities
* Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
* Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
