1. Alliteration - is the repetition of a sound in a sentence or series of sentences. (किसी वाक्य में एक ही स्वर का उच्चारण)
Samantha soared down the street on her sleek skateboard (In this sentence sound of "s" repeats) (इस वाक्य में 'S' स्वर का उच्चारण बार बार हुआ है)
2. Personification - makes a non-human things seem human. (Personification का इस्तेमाल अजीवित चीज़ को जीवित दर्शाने के लिए किया जाता है)
The tree invited us to come and play.
3. Simile - uses "likes" or "as" to make a comparison (Simile में तुलना दर्शाने के लिए like या as शब्दों का इस्तेमाल किया जाता है. Simile किसी व्यक्ति या वास्तु को किसी और वस्तु के जैसा बताती है)
She is like a rose (वह एक गुलाब की तरह है.)
4. Hyperbole - is an exaggeration of ideas for the sake of emphasis (Hyperbole का इस्तेमाल किसी बात को बढ़ा चढ़ा कर कहने के लिए किया जाता है ताकि उस पर ज़ोर दिया जा सके)

5. Idiom - an idiom is a phrase that means what it means, even if it doesn't makes sense (मुहावरे)
I am feeling a bit under the weather (that means, you are not keeping well) (तबहियत ठीक ना होना)
6. Metaphor - this means, that two different things are the same thing. (Metaphor का इस्तेमाल एक वाक्य में दो चीज़ों को एक सा दर्शाने के लिए किया जाता है)
