It’s a one-stop solution for all value and basic content for UPSC CSE exam. For course details: @UPSCand_Beyond App name- Civil Services Compass
Let me say something exam channels don't like saying out loud.
Most people reading this will not see their name in the UPPCS final list this year. That includes good people. Hard-working people. People who deserved it. I know, because for 6 years I was one of them.
Hi everyone, Shubham here. Not a strategy post today. Just a conversation.
People sometimes ask me: if most aspirants don't make it, why do you keep doing this? My honest answer: because the ones who don't make it still deserve someone who took them seriously.
In the last UPSC cycle I mentored 38 aspirants one to one. 13 ranked, 21 got interview calls. We celebrated those loudly, and we will keep doing that. But some of the messages I go back to on bad days are from people who never cleared. They talk about finally having a plan. About sleeping better. About not feeling alone in a small room at 1 am.
We keep those messages in a feedback channel, rankers and non-rankers together, because both are real. Go read a few. Not to buy anything. Just to see that the people around you on this road are more like you than you think.
So here is what I want for every UPPCS aspirant here, whatever 6 December brings:
🟠 If you clear, we will be the loudest people in your comments.
🟠 If you don't, I want you to walk out of that hall knowing you prepared the right way, not the panicked way.
🟠 And either way, I want you to still like yourself on 7 December.
Result humare haath mein nahi hai. Tayyari hai. Let's take care of the part we can control.
Love you all ❤️

📖 GS: Most Important Themes | Theme 1 (GS1 Society)
Caste in Urban India: Changing, Not Fading
Starting today, a FREE card on each of the 34 most-asked GS Mains themes, picked from every Mains paper from 2017 to 2026. The next morning, a Value Addition Vault card gives you an example to drop straight into that answer.
🔶 Asked in 6 of the last 10 years
🔶 Mains 2026 asked it word for word: "Is caste disappearing in urban India?"
🔶 One card: core idea, diagram, thinkers, data, ready intro and conclusion
💛 This exam has a second syllabus that nobody prints. Sitting alone in a room for ten hours. Smiling through "kab hoga?" at every family function. Opening the book again the next morning anyway. These cards can't make that easier. They can make sure the hours you put in go to what UPSC actually asks. I wrote about that second syllabus here (Click here to read).

⭐️ Diagramification of your Mains Answer: the complete revision index (Day 1 to 41)
41 days. One diagram a day, each from a theme UPSC keeps repeating, with the latest official data and exactly where to use it. Save this one message and the whole series is in your pocket.
🔶 Why it matters: these diagrams come from our GS Diagram Booklets, and in Mains 2026 about 60 questions could be answered with a diagram drawn straight from them: GS1: 11 | GS2: 14 | GS3: ~16 | GS4: ~19
✅ Agriculture, Environment & Disasters
DAY 1 | DAY 2 | DAY 3 | DAY 4 | DAY 5 | DAY 6 | DAY 7 | Revision
✅ Internal Security
DAY 8 | DAY 9 | DAY 10 | DAY 11
✅ Economy
DAY 12 | DAY 13 | DAY 14 | DAY 15 | DAY 16 | DAY 17 | DAY 18 | DAY 19 | DAY 20 | DAY 21 | Revision quiz
✅ Disaster Management & Environment
DAY 22 | DAY 23 | DAY 24
✅ Agriculture, Part 2
DAY 25 | DAY 26
✅ GS4: Ethics
DAY 27 | DAY 28 | DAY 29 | DAY 30 | DAY 31 | DAY 32 | DAY 33 | DAY 34 | DAY 35 | DAY 36 | DAY 37 | DAY 38 | DAY 39 | DAY 40 | DAY 41
➡️ How to revise: open 5 days in one sitting and redraw each diagram once from memory, then check. 15 minutes a day, the full series in about 8 days.
Every one of these took hours: finding the newest data, checking the source, then making it simple enough to draw in 30 seconds.

Doubts: +91 9217266679
Confession: the first thing we made for UPPCS was not notes. It was a spreadsheet. A very boring one :p
Hi everyone, Shubham here.
Many of you know me from the UPSC side. 6 years, 6 attempts, no final list. So when we decided to build for UPPCS, I had one fear. That we would do what is easiest: take UPSC material, print "UP" on the cover and call it UPPCS preparation.
Easy, yes. Honest, no.
So before writing a single theme, we sat with every question UPPCS asked in 2023, 2024 and 2025. All 450. Each one tagged: subject, format, difficulty, and what level of reading it needed. Then we went back 35 years to see which themes keep coming back.
Some of it surprised even me:
🟠 About two-thirds of the paper is straight recall, and one question in three can be answered from NCERT-level reading.
🟠 Marks slip away mostly in pure current affairs and Medieval History.
🟠 UPPCS has asked Bhakti saints in 10 different papers, Himalayan passes in 9, vitamins in 9.
Why am I telling you all this? Because it is the one promise I can actually keep: we will not guess on your behalf.
Abhay (AIR 03, UPPCS 2024) sat with our research team on this map and picked the themes he felt matter most this year. Every booklet and every test stands on it. If the map is wrong, everything after it is wrong. So we spent the most time on the part nobody ever sees. (My eyes still have opinions about that spreadsheet :p)
The list of 76 repeating themes was never meant to be paid. It is here, free, if you missed it.
One small task for tonight: open the list and tick every theme you can explain without looking at anything. The ones you can't tick are your real syllabus for the next six weeks.
Sach bolun toh, this is the least glamorous part of preparation. And the most useful.
~Shubham Ajmera

✅ What they DRAW: participation at every stage, with an Indian example at each stage (Mo Sarkar, Meghalaya's social audit)

🎯 Can I ask you something honestly? Is something in Mains quietly troubling you?
🔶 Maybe the content feels scattered, Lack of One pager Quality Notes? (you don't know what's enough).
🔶 Maybe you write answers, but they don't feel like a ranker's (No integrated plan of toppers copies and PYQs) - Or maybe you didn’t build discipline to write at all!
🔶 Maybe you just can't see where your marks are slipping. And you don’t have a Ranker/Mentor friend! You're not alone. Most serious aspirants carry this silently for months.
🔶 But be honest with yourself: these 2-3 months are the last real window to fix it. Once Prelims season starts, Mains gets pushed aside again, and the same problem waits for you next year. So don't carry it alone anymore.
Text Shriya Ma'am on WhatsApp and tell her the exact problem you're facing. For example it can be any one of the following: Content/One pager Notes/ Optional/ Answer writing Practice/ Feedback etc!
The more specific you are, the better we can guide you.

📢 The OG Topper Notes channel is back.
We started this channel in September 2024 to solve one real problem. Topper notes are out there, but they're scattered across thousands of Telegram channels. And even when you find them, you don't know what is actually good in them or how to use them.
So we do that work for you. We find the notes, go through them, and tell you what makes each one special.
What we have shared so far (MOST VIEWED AND RATED POSTS)
🔶 Shantanu Malani (AIR 113): quick revision notes for GS 1, 2, 3, Ethics and Geography
🔶 Smriti Mishra Ma'am's Internal Security notes, Surbhi Goyal's (AIR 78) Geography diagrams
🔶 Aryan Kumar Singh's (AIR 104) handwritten GS notes, Preeti Chauhan's (AIR 47) Sociology value addition, and many more
Every note is listed in our pinned post ➡️ see the full index here. That one post alone has crossed 85K views. Somewhere along the way, posting slowed down. That changes from today.
What's coming:
✅ Researched topper notes 4–5 days a week at 1 PM, starting with CSE 2025 rankers (AIR 3, 4, 6, 10 and more), each with what makes them special and how to use them
✅ Optional notes too this time: Sociology, PSIR, Economics, Law, History, Anthropology and more
✅ One long post every week on what toppers actually did differently, analysed honestly
You focus on studying. Finding and filtering is our job. First notes drop tomorrow at 1 PM.
