Russia plans to spend $1.1 trillion on rearmament by 2036 — the largest military program since the Soviet era, said Kyrylo Budanov.

"5488 Cancelled.
On July 17, the Verkhovna Rada withdrew bill No. 5488. It was an attempt to criminalize dissent, punish with prison for "biased attitude" – that is, for refusing to accept perversions, pseudo-values, and silently obey someone else's morality.
The law provided for up to 8 years imprisonment for criticism, for convictions, for loyalty to one's principles. It could not be changed or softened – only completely rejected. Its very essence was hostile to Ukraine and its culture.
We did not allow this law to pass. This is the merit of everyone who did not remain silent, who wrote, protested, pressured – everyone who did not believe in peaceful coexistence with the embodiment of the fall from grace."

10-year-old boy killed in Kramatorsk: russians hit 10-story building with guided bomb. 8 more people injured.
The building was destroyed, 6 apartments on fire on an area of 240 sq.m. In total, 3 apartment buildings and an administrative building were damaged.

Also to tell you how behind the US is at making cheap drones, the new US drone (LUCAS) recently presented by Pete Hegseth, is literally a Shahed drone (with the old propulsion design btw).
But not like they reversed engineering a Shahed, they asked a company (SpektreWorks) specialized at making replica of drones for training air defense and just put the Shahed replica (FLM 131) on display.
But who know, the US Army already recovered from worst technological gapes in the past. 😉

In Moscow Oblast a concrete bridge was washed away by a stream of water, which caused several settlements to be cut off from civilization.
To be fair there was not much civilization around to begin with, so maybe its an improvement ? 😌

The 5488 application has been withdrawn from parliament, if passed, the bill could’ve potentially incriminate people for “hate speech”, similar to those laws in Western European countries.
Thanks to the overwhelming opposition to the bill by Ukrainian nationalists and military personnel, the bill ceases to exist
