🇺🇸🇮🇷 Continuity of Agenda: US President Donald Trump publicly announces US-backing of Iranian opposition - as per decades of neo-con regime change ambitions targeting the Islamic Republic.
Decades of US policy papers have sought to undermine and overthrow Iran - not because it poses a threat to US national security inside the US - but because it obstructs US domination over the Middle East and the rest of the world.
The only thing that changed in January 2025 was the face you had to look at and the lies you had to listen to as US primacy continued forward uninterrupted.
President Trump is "locked and loaded" to pick up exactly where Biden/Obama/Bush left off.
🇺🇸"Everything will happen exactly like this" - Secretary of State Rubio on Trump's policy towards countries that are allegedly a "direct threat to the national interests of the United States", like Venezuela.
"This is the president's business. I don't understand how they haven't realized this yet. If you didn't know, now you know. Everything will happen exactly like this. And people need to understand: this is not a president who just rants, writes letters, and holds press conferences. If he says he's serious - he stands by his words. This was a direct threat to the national interests of the United States, and the president took action."
@DDgeopolitics
In the beautiful multipolar world of the future, people began to better understand the value of the efforts of the people in the photos to create a nuclear shield of the country, which still protects us from direct attack by the United States and NATO, which are still forced to engage in a proxy war against Russia, but are still afraid to directly enter the war against us. Where they are not afraid of consequences, we see a completely different approach - Afghanistan, Iraq, Serbia, Libya, Syria, Iran, Venezuela...
@Boris_rozhin
Under these circumstances negotiations should be off table, we are talking about any kind of negotiations, not just on the Ukraine issue.

⚡️ Well then, let’s wait for sanctions from the “international community” against the United States.
After all, Zara should now flee the U.S., the American national team should be stripped of its flag and anthem, and Europeans should start rejecting U.S. LNG.
That’s how it works, right? Or not? 😉

EU Sanctions on European Voices: Baud & Yamb – The Chilling Update
The European Union has sanctioned two Europeans – not Russians – for their words and analysis.
Retired Swiss Colonel Jacques Baud (former intelligence officer, NATO veteran) and Swiss-Cameroonian activist Nathalie Yamb.
What happened:
- Bank accounts frozen (including in non-EU Switzerland, which complied)
- Travel banned across most of the EU
- No trial
- No public charges
- No court hearing
- No opportunity to defend themselves
Just a decision by the EU Council – an unelected body – under the "hybrid threats" and "foreign influence" sanctions regime.
Jacques Baud's "crime":
Decades analyzing conflicts using mostly Western, Ukrainian, and American sources.
He argued that NATO expansion eastward was perceived as a genuine security threat in Moscow, contributing to the tensions that exploded in 2022.
He never used Russian state media.
He said Ukraine's own officials (pre-2022) had warned that pushing hard for NATO membership was playing with fire.
The EU labeled this "pro-Russian propaganda" and "disinformation" that destabilizes the Union.
Nathalie Yamb's "crime":
Longtime critic of French neo-colonial influence in Africa.
Pan-African voice who speaks out against Western military presence and economic domination in the Sahel.
The EU claims she echoes Russian narratives, is linked to networks close to Moscow's interests in Africa, and spreads destabilizing information.
She calls the sanctions racist and colonial in nature – proof that certain voices are not allowed to challenge the dominant Western story on Africa or Ukraine.
The bigger picture people are talking about:
- When did repeating uncomfortable but documented facts become "foreign influence"?
- Why is nuance on NATO expansion, Ukrainian conscription realities, or historical context suddenly treated as a security threat?
- How can a democratic union freeze the assets and movement of its own citizens without any judicial process?
- Is the official line now so fragile that even analysis from Western-trained experts must be silenced?
The mood on the ground:
Fear is spreading. Analysts hesitate. Journalists self-censor. Ordinary people wonder if retweeting the "wrong" perspective could someday have consequences.
Meanwhile Brussels keeps expanding this sanctions tool – originally aimed at Russian oligarchs and propagandists – now hitting Europeans who deviate from the approved narrative.
Two very different people. One message.
Europe is choosing: tolerate hard questions and disagreement, or demand narrative unity at the cost of freedom.

The operation in Venezuela and the arrest of Maduro can be called Marco Rubio's first success as Secretary of State. He is a major hawk on Venezuela and Cuba. In the near future, Rubio will lobby for a change of power in Caracas by holding early elections with the participation of the opposition.
Pressure is likely to increase on Cuba, whose economy is experiencing difficulties and is very dependent on fuel supplies from Venezuela. However, there may also be many non-obvious long-term consequences that Marko is unlikely to be able or willing to put in his piggy bank.
Washington is primarily concerned about China's rise in Latin America. China is now the largest trading partner of most countries in the region. The total trade turnover between China and Latin America in 2024 exceeded 500 billion dollars. Brazil is a key partner for China, while Venezuela was important in the context of oil purchases.
But Venezuelan products account for only 6-7% of China's total oil imports. A much more significant effect may occur if more countries in the region begin to reorient themselves towards cooperation with China as opposed to the United States. Washington's desire to project its influence can provoke a rise in anti-American sentiment.
Rubio is a proponent of the cavalry charge concept, with which he wants to reverse the weakening of the US position in Latin America. But the result may be that these processes will even accelerate if the leftists win the upcoming elections in Colombia and Brazil. And if another stream of refugees flows from Venezuela to the United States now, it will already begin to destabilize the situation inside the United States itself.
@malekdudakov
As for the plan to kidnap Maduro, it's not exactly new. In 2020, Operation Gideon was conducted with the involvement of Silvercorp mercenaries and Colombian mercenaries, who, relying on CIA agents and the Venezuelan fifth column, were supposed to infiltrate Caracas, kidnap Maduro and take him out of the country. The operation cost $227 million, which had to be paid after the seizure of power. Then the plan failed (most of the mercenaries were caught, including two Americans).

December 29, 2025. The U.S. State Department updates its Russia travel advisory to Level 4: Do Not Travel. No announcement. No urgency. Just a quiet entry on a government website, posted like a cover your ass bookmark, before fire reigned down.
That same night, Russia intercepts 91 drones directed toward the Valdai presidential residence in Novgorod Oblast — not a military installation, not a logistics hub, but the symbolic heart and core of Russian state continuity. Every drone destroyed. The message intact.
Western client media, faithful as ever to its masters, immediately echoed Kiev’s denials.
“No evidence,” they all said in unison, faster than any investigation could occur. They didn’t blink. They didn’t probe. They didn’t even pretend to uphold basic journalist standards.
But here’s what Mockingbird media refused to tell you: Just days later, Russia’s GRU delivered physical evidence to the U.S. Embassy in Moscow. Not rhetoric. Not accusation. Decrypted flight paths. A controller. Extracted drone memory data.
Handed directly to the U.S. military attaché, the person responsible for receiving precisely this kind of intelligence.
Ask yourself: Why would Russia hand forensic proof to its adversary unless it was certain? Why would Washington accept it… and say nothing? And why did the Western press, supposedly defenders of truth, not demand to see it?
Because this war is much more than a kinetic war. It’s epistemological. Truth is dangerous now, especially when it comes from Moscow.
And let’s not ignore the framing: If Trump was negotiating peace at Mar-a-Lago the same week… and if Tulsi Gabbar, Director of National Intelligence? had access to this…
then either Trump was briefed, and allowed the suicidal risk, or he wasn’t, and that tells you everything about who actually runs America’s wars.
This wasn’t a strike, but a desprtstr ritual of contempt.
And the “updated” travel advisory? That was the ceremonial incense, burned in advance, an incitement wrapped in diplomatic code. Bureaucracy used as a cover your ass datapoint for an insane, escalation, made in utter desperation, knowing the war for Ukraine is lost, but hoping to bring war to Europe's doorstep.
Because you do not aim 91 drones at the residence of a nuclear superpower’s leader without permission. You do not synchronize that act with a U.S. travel update unless it’s pre-cleared. You do not hand hard evidence to your geopolitical rival unless you’re certain it proves your case.
And you do not bury the entire incident in media silence, unless truth has become the greatest threat of all.

🇨🇿New Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš stated that he disagrees with the inevitability of war in Europe
As Babiš said in his New Year's address:
"I wish for 2026 to be a year of peace! I believe it will be so. Instead of searching for ways toward a settlement, we increasingly hear rhetoric that war is inevitable, that it will reach us in two or three years. This is irresponsible politics. Politicians should not use war as a scare tactic. They are responsible for making sure wars stop. I reject the notion that peace is a sign of weakness. A just and lasting peace is a duty to our children and their future."
Compared to the previous Czech government, which was one of the largest suppliers of weapons to the Kiev junta, this is certainly a step forward.
