🐛 Morphology:
🔹Male ♂️: 12 to 31 cm in length by 2 to 4 mm in diameter.
🔹Female ♀️: 20 to 35 cm. In length by 3 to 9 mm in diameter (but specimens up to 45 cm are occasionally observed).

Any of these drugs are given in one dose initially, and then another single dose of the same drug two weeks later.
يعني الدواء ينعطى على شكل جرعتين يفصل بينهم أسبوعين.
والسبب لان الجرعة الاولى ممكن ما تقتل كافة الديدان الموجودة وبيوضها فالجرعة الثانية علمود تقتل شكو دودة او بيضة نجحت في الافلات من الموت 🙅🏻♀😎
🔄 Life Cycle:
1. ingested eggs hatch تفقص in the small intestine.
2. larvae grow rapidly to a size of 140 to 150 μm, migrate towards the cecum and becume mature.
3. male and female pinworms mate 🤵🏻👰🏻
4. Gravid female🤰🏻 migrate down the bowel and out of the anus onto the perianal and perineal skin.
5. eggs are laid تُطرح in the perianal and perineal skin.
6. some of these eggs may be swallowed by persons in the contaminated environment.

الديدان الخيطية أهم صفاتها
1 non-segmented
2 typically elongate, cylindrical
3 fundamentally bilateral symmetry. التناظر
4 اهم صفها تميزها عن البقية بيها جهاز هضمي كامل يتكون من mouth و esopagus و intestine and anus
5 الاجناس منفصله ذكر وانثى dioecious ثانية المسكن
6 الfemal بيها لو viviparous يعني ولود تنتج larvae اما oviparous يعني تنتج بيوض
اما تكون ovi-viviparous هاي شيقصد بيها يقصد تنتج بيوض وتفقس بسرعة
ميزة مهمة الذكور اصغر من الاناث male is smaller than female and its
posterior end is curved ventralrally
تختلف بالحجم حسب النوع اكو بيها كبيرة واكو صغيرة حتى بالعين المجردة مانشوفها
مميزات شكلها وجلدها shiny , tough , a cellular ,hyaline cuticle (skin)which may besmooth , spined or ridged .
الnematode بدورة حياتها راح تمر بعدة مراحل

🔬 Diagnosis:
1⃣ specific diagnosis may be made on the recovery of the worms from the perianal area.
2⃣ demonstration of eggs in stool sample.
🥚 Egg:
🔸flattened on one side.
🔸measures 50 to 60 by 20 to 30 microns.
🔸have an outer albuminous layer which causes them to stick تلتصق to each other and to clothing and other subjects.
الطبقة الخارجية تساعدها ان تلتصق بالملابس والاشياء وبالتالي تساهم بانتشار الاصابة.
