I have had time to think about what @SenTomCotton said about Trump's nominees, and how they should go through because it is unprecedented for the POTUS party in the Senate Majority to deny him his cabinet.

We have heard ad nauseum that Trump needs to "expend political capital" to get his preferred nominees through the GOP controlled Senate.

Think about that for a moment.

Why should he have to do that?

The narrative we have been fed is literally telling us that the GOP Senate is the obstruction to Trump as POTUS.

That is what they are saying when they push the narrative.

And TBH, the GOP Senators are helping solidify that narrative with their OTR and ON the Record comments.

Why do we accept this as the norm?
Trump should not have to expend ANY political capital to get any of his Cabinet nominees through the process with a GOP majority Senate.

Yes, I know, they have to fight. But why should they have to fight so hard? No other POTUS has to face this issue. What is the answer?

For now, we have their back, and we stiffen their spines and remind them we are in the MAJORITY, and Trump won.
But thinking to the future. Do you think it will be different in 2028 if Vance wins? No. We are at a crossroads. Some of the Old Rhinos need to retire, and new blood brought into the fold.
The next 2 cycles will be interesting.

The Russian government shows no understanding of the consequences of Greater Israel. Alan Sabrosky concludes that Russia was not willing to fight as hard in Syria’s defense as Washington and Israel were to fight for Syria’s downfall. The road to Iran is now clear.

The fact that matters most is that throughout the world the perception is that Washington and Israel have prevailed over Russia. This perception will strengthen Washington and likely have effects on foreign policies and on the development of BRICS. Saudi Arabia, which went so far as to hold joint military maneuvers with Iran and to express an interest in BRICS will likely reinstate the petro-dollar in exchange for Washington’s protection against the Israeli government minister who declared that the map of Greater Israel now includes Saudi Arabia.

The extraordinary defeat that Israel and Israel’s American neoconservatives have dealt to Russia and Iran pre-empts Trump from any peace moves. The West has recovered its hegemony with Russia’s defeat in Syria and is on a roll. Washington will insist on Russia and Iran’s obedience.

The purpose of Trump’s ceasefire in Ukraine is to protect the West from a defeat. As Putin prefers agreements to war, he might fall into the trap, and Washington will have succeeded in restoring its hegemony.

As of this morning, IDF armored elements were reportedly engaged in minor skirmishes within 10 miles of Damascus, with the axis of advance largely being undertaken from the Golan Heights, along the Syrian border with Lebanon. In the north, Turkey continues their large-scale bombing/shelling of various positions to the east of their historic occupation areas (AC: Turkey has maintained an invasion of northern Syria for a few years, which has been tied up in various legalese, but is essentially their own “buffer zone” invasion they carried out years ago, similarly to what Israel is currently carrying out in the south).
Meanwhile, the war continues in eastern Syria between a conglomeration of random groups, the most prominent of which are the Syrian Defense Forces (or SDF, the US-backed coalition fighting various other groups in the autonomous eastern region of the country). This afternoon, the US CENTCOM director for the counter-ISIS mission in the east visited several military bases throughout the region, reaffirming American government support to their interests throughout the failed state.
South Korea: Investigations into the actions of various military commanders during last week’s coup attempt continue. Initial data (as made public by investigators) indicates that this coup attempt had been planned for some time, with some commanders allegedly engaging in planning efforts as far back as the summer of 2023.

Analyst Comments: As a consequence of events on the Korean Peninsula, scrutiny has once again returned to President Yoon, who originally attempted to attribute his actions to innocent buffoonery. His failures, however, prevented his success. Many military leaders within the sphere of Capitol defense did not know of the coup plans, and thus the internal checks and balances prevented the speed and violence of action needed for the coup to work. Likewise, the foot-dragging of other lower-level soldiers, and the hesitation to carry out questionable orders without a doubt saved lives. Something as simple as a junior officer telling his guys to go take a ramen break for half-an-hour may very well have prevented calamity from befalling the nation.
In short, the actions of low-level staffers and junior soldiers to act with magnanimity, not necessarily to pick a side during the coup, but to approach the situation with great discernment, reflect great credit on their devotion to their nation. Though very unconfirmed at this time, some rumors of an exceptionally serious nature have begun to mount following the revelations that have come to light over the past few days. Allegations have been made that President Yoon may have even attempted to stoke a war with North Korea to solidify his coup attempt. More specifically, he allegedly was planning to authorize a drone to fly over Pyongyang as a way of stoking a North Korean military response which would justify Yoon’s coup.
As this is a VERY serious implication/accusation, much more investigation is needed. After all, Yoon’s political opponents have great motivation to hang him out to dry, even to include exaggeration or lies about Yoon’s actions. As such, great care must be taken to avoid the situation spiraling out of control again; South Korea might not be out of the woods just yet with regards to activities transitioning out of the realm of traditional politics and more into a continuation of politics by other means.

If you watched my video on the Ryan Routh assassination attempt you already know that a Secret Service agent fired at Routh from approximately 5 feet and missed.

Well, Jessie Watters got more information on that engagement. The agent fired 6 shots at him from that distance and missed all 6. Missing one shot at that distance is bad enough but six??? 🤨

That then leads us to conclude one of two things:

1. The agent is absolutely the worst shooter ever. 5 feet, not 5 yards. It's virtually impossible to miss multiple shots at that distance - especially considering Routh was wearing a bright salmon colored shirt that makes an excellent target to focus on.

2. The agent intentionally missed. Why would they do that? We can only speculate at this point...

Washington is lighting all the fuses it possibly can around the world: the Middle East, Ukraine, China... I'm just waiting for something in Latin America and Africa to pop off too. Arguably at home as well, with all these last-minute regulations and narratives about that Luigi guy who allegedly killed the healthcare insurance CEO in New York.

One interpretation is that they're trying to "Trump-proof" America and maintain the Globalist American Empire until they can "fortify" the next election. Another is that they've initiated the "Samson option" and are willing to bring the world down with them.

Whether you hope Trump's presidency will make a positive difference or not, now is the time to be extra vigilant and block any last-minute shenanigans before they turn your country into Syria, too.
