TIP : 1) As tempting as it is to listen to others interviews, please don’t because you’ll end up even more nervous rather look around and observe what’s around you
2) I was genuinely scared after going through other’s experiences here on this group but its not as scary as we think it is

Me: The VO aslo ask about my course in the same question
There are mainly 2 reasons for choosing SPU,
1. THE Research projects in data science are mainly focusing on real life problems like geographic data and road safety, crime analytics , health safety and prediction analysis which was close to my undergraduate project(i add this line specifically because it will shift focus to project and as i thought my next question is about my project)
2. The course curriculum was well structured, they start from introduction to DS and go deeper into the analytics subjects , addition to this they also providing customised certificates and training courses in the field of analytics which will add a value to my profile

VO: What is ur UG project?
Me: I just said title "Semantic segmentation of optical disk and optical cup to diagnose Glaucoma"
she asked Glaucoma? I said yes officer and ask bit more about the project and given the details

VO: She was saying i have less time and face a problem while immigration?
Me: I thought she was going to reject me and saying like my university give me extension upto September 12th , she said again same and handover 221g letter ( yellow slip Administration processing) with case number

Even though i know 221g is not rejection, in the interview my mind was blank and thought it as a rejection. And came out and release it was 221g

VO: 221g process?
Me: After i got 221g i went to chennai biometrics on august 30 2023, with required documents but on that day they didn't took my documents and said that they will contact me for documents then only i need to came and submit passport and remaining

Even after 30 days i didn't get any mail from them, one of the friend who got 221g said "that in my case i need to submit the documents and said to tell like the vo officer ask me to submit the documents so no mail will come in my case" Same happened at the embassy i said same then finally they accept my documents( in my case passport,updated i20 ,221g slip handed in interview) on 6th October 2023, on 12 th October CEAC status changed to approved and on 13th October status changed to issued and finally got my passport with stamping.

Me: I will always forever thank full to this telegram group that help me a lot and i got some idea how to prepare for interview.

VO: My suggestion?
Me: Always go through the college website you don't need to copy others experience just take reference (write down ur own points you will remember a lot like this) , practice a lot in front of mirror, or take more mocks
We thought we will talk but once you are in front of officer most of the people will get tensed so practice end of the day it was our luck but always give ur best, Thank you

Me: My father is my primary sponsore, I have and education loan from HDFC credila of xx amount, my father has a personal saving of xx amount, also we have fixed asset of xx amount.
In the mean while she was typing something and said your visa is approved, after that she said something I couldn't hear but she passed me the white slip and kept the passport in the tray

VO: How many admits?
Me: Office I have applied for 4 universities and received admits from Texas tech and Texas A&M Kingsville while Oklahoma State university ,still water and West Virginia University, Morganstown were still under review.

VO: Ok so this is Texas tech..( looking into i20) so you are going to study biology right?
Me: Officer, I have done my bachelors in Agricultural Sciences and this course is just an advanced extension to my bachelors. In this course I will get the chance to study in depth about plant pathology which will help me to gain significant knowledge in disease identification and its management. She said oh that's good with a smiling face

VO: So what about your funding?
Me: Officer my father will be sponsoring my education with his savings of XX lakhs and I have secured an education loan of XX lakhs. More,we have immovable assets worth XX crore which can be liquified at any time.. by the time of question I understood my visa is going to get approved

VO: What's your father's occupation explain me about it?
Me: Answered accordingly and golden words Your Visa is Approved, have a good Stay at Texas.
