After just completing my answer within a second officer said approved and kept my passport, gave my I20 & Sevis back.

I was happy and took only I20 😅and was leaving then officer called me by saying .

VO: Who told you about this university?
Me: I live in a small village in Assam, so there’s not many people from my locality who has applied to VISA and gone to US for higher studies. After studying and securing good marks like 4 gpa in 10th and 12th grade, my high school counsellor who advised me about US education and suggested me few universities. I emailed the international admission advisor, Carlie and became aware of the admission process and scholarship opportunities; this is the way I found out about this university.

VO: Who is going to fund you?
Me: My parents are going to fund me, they have an annual income of 35 lakh ruppees and have savings of 44 lakh ruppees in Bank. If required, my father has already discussed with ICICI bank about future loans.

VO: Do you have to take general classes like English?
Me: Yes, I have heard that those classes are compulsory, and I will discuss them with the international admission advisor.

VO: after some typing... congrats your visa is approved, it will take maximum 7 days to reach you...
Me: Thanks a lot officer, ran away from there



There were two students in front of me and both were rejected, this actually made me nervous but I realised that they made mistakes like stuttering and robotic answers, so picked my self up and talked with the officer like a friend of mine. Make sure you are having a conversation with the officer, they just want to know what you are going to do in US and having stuttering answers and robotic voice will just spike their suspicions and hence no visa. Make sure you take good courses and not take subjects like english learning and communications ....

Me: Yes officer, my husband is pursuing his master's at University of Virginia, he is in 3rd semester now.

Me: Officer, for my requirements northern Arizona University is providing me the best course curriculum what exactly i wanted , so I have choosen nau .

Me: Officer, My mother is my primary sponsor with her saving for 25 lakhs and i also have savings of 10 lakhs and i got 10k$ scholorship from nau , and i also have 33 lakhs movable assets which I can liquidate whenever I want .

Me: Me : My parents are sponsoring me with their savings amount of 25 lakhs and we also have family funds of 11.5 lakhs. Aprat from that we have investment in shares and NSC which is around 25 lakhs. Moreover, We also hve immovable asset worth rs 95 lakhs. And I also paid 4000$ which is first installment and also get the scholarship.
(I mentioned a loan in my ds160 but forgot to say it in my funds so she asked me).

VO: vo : And you also have taken a loan.?
Me: oh yes yes officer I also have taken a loan which is 5 lakhs rs.
(After a few seconds she just realised that I have mentioned my scholarship and she just checked my i20 again and said )

VO: vo : oh you also got the scholarship?
Me: Me : Yes officer, I also get the scholarship from the University.
(she's like oh good)

VO: vo : How much amount of scholarships did you get ?
Me: Me : I got a scholarship of 2000$ per semester for 1 year.
(Then she said oh that's really nice)

VO: Then she just said : Your visa is approved.
Me: Me : Thank you so much officer.

Me: I also cried before the interview as I got so nervous after all it's my second chance and I get the date after 1 year which is very difficult for me to get but by god's grace I get the visa slots and visa approval also. And in embassy during the waiting I also get nervous because so many people are get rejected but the one thing you have to keep in mind is to be calm whatever happens to others doesn't have to affect you and be confident and everything is going to fine. Me: Sorry. Could you please repeat once. She repeated. My answer : I explained the outcome knowledge of the degree with help of course curriculum

Me: I was rejected in last june at chennai consulate for less GRE score. In my view some of the VO at chennai are concerned with GRE & CGPA.
I choosed the first slot for a day. So that I dont have to stand in line for long which is exhausting.
I choosed HYD after following the Visa experiences page for quite long time.
My VO didn't even smile and rejected the first 2 persons infront of me and asked many questions. They fumbled a lot.
I was confident, prepared well for all kind of questions & ofcourse needed a little prayer for some luck. I visited chilkur visa balaji the day before my VI
