Me: When I decided to pursue my masters, I came across the University of Maryland, College Park through my research and University Rankings. I found that it is one of the top universities globally and considered prestigious in my country. I even attended some webinars organized by the university to know more about it before finalizing it to pursue my masters.

Me: I completed my graduation in 2020 and earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Delhi.

VO: What were you doing after graduation?
Me: After my graduation, I worked at Ernst and Young as an Audit Assurance Associate for 1 year and 2 months (This really caught her attention). And after that I joined a private firm which deals in wholesale trading of dry fruits as a Strategy and Operations Manager. I joined this firm as it is in the same industry as my family business but at a larger scale. I wanted to learn new skills from them and implement them in my family business at a later stage.

VO: How are you going to fund the education?
Me: My father and I collectively have savings of xxx lakhs and I have also secured an education loan of xxx lakhs from xxx Bank. My father also has immovable assets worth xxx crores which can be liquified if required. These sources should be enough to sponsor my education
