Me: Out of all the admits I recieved, Clark is the only University that is providing electives in health informatics. This is the reason I'm moving forward with this university.

Me: Master's in Data analytics, officer. The sevis Id given to that course for our university is "Informatics" but the actual name of the course I've been admitted to is "Data analytics".

VO: Oh okay, I see. You did your undergraduate in...?
Me: Aerospace engineering.

VO: Aerospace engineering? Isn't it completely different from data analytics?
Me: The reason I took aerospace engineering during my undergraduation is because I like to explore things since I was a kid. So I wanted to take up aerospace engineering and possibly get into space exploration. But in my final years I realised that the course and career is too technical with little room for personal thought. It was in my third year when I took an elective in industrial engineering and got exposure to business forecasting models and predictive analytics. I really liked these subjects. Later, I selected my final year project which heavily relied on python scripting, data mining and data visualization. It was then I realised data analytics is the field for me and I wanted to pursue a career in this field.

VO: How are you going to fund the education?
Me: I've got an education loan of $65000 from xxx and my parents are sponsoring me with $21000 of their savings. Apart from these I've secured a 15% scholarship on the whole tuition fee.

VO: How are you prepared for your master's degree?
Me: I've done 2 certification courses since my graduation. One from IBM - Introduction to data analytics and one from Harvard University - Linear regression. I'm confident that the knowledge I gained from these courses had strengthen my fundamentals required to pursue masters degree.
