Me: I've seen people coming outside happily and sadly. It was the worst day, but this is not end of the world. India is not any lesser, it's just that freedom and independence from everything we're going to US. Knowledge is everywhere.

Me: Yes officer i have been working as a Backend software developer for TCS since i graduated.

VO: What do you hope to get out of this master's degree?
Me: Officer as i have been working as a software developer for 2 years now i would like to move into a computer vision engineer role and this EECS degree has the courses that will teach me the skills to work in this role in companies like AMD,Nvidia, Qualcomm in India.

VO: So what would you say is your dream company that you would like to work in?
Me: (I smiled because i became happy this was asked, at this point i understood that the VO is just having a conversation with me.) I would like to work in Nvidia in Bangalore, I've been to their office once before while i was in college and establishing my startup.

VO: So this is a pretty expensive course (looking at i20 now) how will you fund it?
Me: Officer i have an education loan of XX lakhs from HDFC Credilla and my parents and I also have savings of XX lakhs that we will be using. Apart from that we have an immovable asset property land worth XX lakhs that we can use in emergencies.

VO: And what do your parents do?
Me: So my father is an IT Infrastructure Architect at XYZ pvt ltd and my Mom is an Operations analyst at XYZ Corp. She works in stocks and trade settlements.

VO: Okay i see. (Typing for a minute).... So your visa has been approved and you will receive it in the next 7 days. Good luck!?

VO: --- Few important points ---?
Me: My mom is in the US on GC and she's partially sponsoring me as well. I mentioned her in DS-160 too.
I told the VO about my loan first as it is my primary source of funds.
One thing i would say is that if you're going to good universities you won't be questioned much and VOs will just have a conversation with you to understand your profile.
Also don't listen to people on telegram/WhatsApp saying dumbshit about hiding details on the DS-160.
