VO: What was your bachelors in? (The visa officer was an Indian American lady she was very sweet)?
Me: My bachelor's was in Electronics and Communication Engineering

VO: Then why this program? ( pointing at my I 20 )?
Me: It may seem like it's a different field but Electronics & Communication Engineering comes under broader field of IT. These two are interrelated. And the subjects I had in my engineering I also have them in masters. ( she looks satisfied with this answer)

VO: Do you have a loan?
Me: No officer my father is sponsoring me with 40 lakhs of his savings...( Stops me )

VO: What is your father?
Me: My father is a civil engineer and he's into construction business...( Stops me )

VO: She looks at the time frame of my engineering it was 6 years. So she asked me when I started my engineering and was was I doing before it did I take a break from education.?
Me: I was in 12th before engineering and started engineering in 2016-17. It got delayed because of 1.5 years of covid and in next 6 months I completed my exams. ( nodded in satisfaction)

VO: Told me to put my left hand fingers on the scanner?
Me: I was nervous but happy because I knew she was approving me.

VO: You completed your engineering this year? ( this question was before the time frame of my engineering sorry)?
Me: Yes officer I completed my engineering just 2 months ago in june 2023

VO: Ok your visa is approved?
Me: Thank you so much ma'am. Then I asked her when will I get my passport back. She said usually in a week to 10 days.

So, whenever I return to my home country, I can get good job in Infosys company.

VO: Again, where are you going?
Me: Officer, I am going to South East Missouri State university.

VO: Why this University?
Me: Officer, I have chosen SEMO because it has highly ranked business school with a strong focus on entrepreneurship skills and students have easy access to meet their professors individually to ask their doubts. Additionally, I was impressed by the curriculum because students can choose the track whatever they want.

VO: I have seen that you have applied second time?
Me: Yes officer because at that moment, I was unable to convince my visa officer.

VO: So, what changes that you have done now as compared to December 2022 (because in December, I was rejected in Mumbai)?
Me: Officer, previously I had chosen normal BBA that is just focusing on fundamental aspects and now I choose international business so that I can explore more about global business trade.

VO: Why you are not choosing ASU? (Because my previous university was ASU)?
Me: Officer, truely speaking, I really wanted to go to ASU but I have contacted with the DSO of ASU and they told me that I need to wait for the next intake.

VO: Ohhh, you need to wait for that university?
Me: Yes officer.

VO:- Ahnnnnnn.

VO: What about your last education?
Me: Officer, I have recently completed my diploma in business management in March 2023.

VO: VO again what about your high school education?
Me: Officer, I completed my high school in 2020 and recently I have done with my diploma in business management so that I can gain basic knowledge regarding management of business.

VO: Who is going to sponsor you?
Me: Officer my father is going to sponsor my education with his savings of 64.2 lakh since he is financially stable.

Guys, please don't let negative comments about Chennai and rejections in this Telegram groups get to you. They might be trying to scare you, but don't give them your attention. I was once scared by those negative thoughts when I was outside, but once I went inside, it was a completely different experience. I saw many approvals and the people were really nice. So, don't be disheartened. While rejections exist, there are also numerous approvals. I've personally witnessed plenty of approvals. Just be confident, prepare well, and speak naturally. Answer with confidence, wear a smile even if they're rude, and speak loudly. You have the power to change their mood. Be friendly and approach them as if you're talking to a new person. Mine was an American lady at counter 22, and she was really nice and friendly. Good luck to all of you!

Me: Sure officer, here you go.

VO: Tell me about your undergraduation.
Me: Officer I completed my under graduation in bachelors of dental surgery.

VO: What is your cgpa?
Me: I secured 3.92 at the scale of 4.

VO: So why are you changing your field from oral surgery to environmental nmental health?
Me: Actually officer it's public health not environmental health.

VO: Then why is it written as environmental health on i-20?
Me: Officer the sevis id name given for my course to my university is environmental health but the course I am enrolled in is public health.

VO: Why do you want to do public health?
Me: During my internship in under graduation I was posted in public health department for 3 months where I went to several dental and health camps. I observed their that the line of treatment provided to patients is more of treatment based and not prevention (interrupted).

VO: Okay. From which universities did you got admits?
Me: University of Cincinnati and university of new haven.

VO: Any university where you did not got admit.
Me: Yes officer I got 1 rejection.

VO: Can you name the university?
Me: Yes officer. It's california state university of northridge.

VO: How are you going to pay your education?
Me: My father will be sponsoring me with his saving of ** lacs and also I have secured education loan of 26 lacs. We have a movable and immovable assets of ** crores which can be liquidated at any time of my education.

VO: What does your father do?
Me: He is a police officer.

VO: What does your mother do?
Me: She's a homemaker.

VO: What is your father's annual income?
Me: It's 12 lpa officer.

VO: He started typing and asked me to scan my right hand four finger
Me: Then he said I'm approving your visa and you'll get it back within a week.
After that I thanked him and said thank you officer you made my day and I ran away from there.

VO: Officer rejected 3 in front of me, be confident guys even if you stop its fine . I did stop in many places the people who were rejected were not able to speak the officer was literally asking them the questions twicee
