A common question asked by Flat Earth newbies is, "why can't we see England from New York if the Earth is flat"? Or why can't we see China.
The fact of the matter is, with clouds, fog, smog, Haze, pollutants etc, you can only see so far. However, if you put an infrared filter on your camera lens, it filters out all these pollutants and you can see way farther.
There is a guy who does infrared photography. And you can see really really far away. Farther than you should be able to if there's curvature for sure. See Link in the comments.

Zephalto, a French company, plans to introduce space tourism through a stratospheric balloon ride by 2025.
The cost of the six-hour round trip will be $132,000 (€120,000) per person, and the balloon will take off from France, ascend 15.5 miles (25 kilometers) into the stratosphere, and hover for three hours at the edge of space.
The balloon will be filled with helium or hydrogen, and the entire trip will last six hours, including a one-and-a-half-hour descent. This unique space tourism experience will offer customers a luxurious journey with unbeatable views.
