❗️ Vladimir Putin held an operational meeting via video link with permanent members of the Security Council
Issues on the international agenda were discussed, including the situation in the Middle East and around Ukraine, and the prospects for Russian-American relations with the future US administration.
"We are open to dialogue with the new US administration on the Ukrainian conflict. The most important thing here is to eliminate the root causes of the crisis <...>. As for the settlement of the situation itself, I would like to emphasize again: its goal should not be a short truce, not some kind of respite for regrouping forces and rearmament with the aim of subsequently continuing the conflict, but a long-term peace based on respect for the legitimate interests of all people, all nations living in this region," Putin said.

On January 17, the country's Supreme Court upheld the law banning the Chinese social network because its owner, ByteDance, refused to sell the app. The judges decided that this was a major risk to national security, and freedom of speech was not that important in this context.
ByteDance wrote in an official statement that everything could change once Trump officially takes office — the company thinks it will be able to reach an agreement with him. In the meantime, the app has disappeared from all download catalogs.

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev commented on Trump's inauguration, noting that the world does not need a "golden age of America", but a multipolar world.
"It is obvious that the main commentary on the rather funny inauguration of the US President was the dialogue between the heads of Russia and China, held after yesterday's event. It became the best proof of the multipolarity of the modern world and the strategic partnership of our countries. And it became obvious to everyone again that the modern world is not interested in the "golden age of America", as Donald Trump theatrically declared yesterday, but in the development and prosperity of all mankind," Medvedev said.

⚡️📣 Kursk Frontline Massacred Civilians Found as Ukraine Soldiers Retreat – ⚡️📣 VIDEO REPORT: https://youtu.be/l-gdUkBN3XE?si=d5ndQ8QcFIJfFgyC
In this report, I document the discovery of massacred civilians in the basements of the village Russkoye Porechnoye, locat ined in the Kursk region of Russia. As Ukrainian forces retreated under fire from the Russian army, I witness firsthand the aftermath of the conflict – bodies of civilians left in distressing conditions, some showing possible signs of torture and possible executions.
The Russian army recently regained control of the village, only to uncover the remains of innocent civilians. Russian forces said "Some of the victims appear to have bruises, while others appear to have perished from an explosive device thrown into the basement" and yet others cuase of death was not seen. These disturbing findings raise serious concerns about potential war crimes committed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces during their retreat and time controling this Russian village.
This report is a call for further investigation into these allegations, as these deaths must not go unnoticed. The evidence collected in Russkoye Porechnoye must be thoroughly examined to determine the truth behind these civilian deaths what ever it may be.https://youtu.be/l-gdUkBN3XE?si=d5ndQ8QcFIJfFgyC

🇷🇺⚔️🇺🇦The Ukrainian Armed Forces are waging a "hopeless battle" in three cities of Donbass - Toretsk, Chasov Yar and Velyka Novosyolka, - Bild
▪️These cities are "days or weeks away from falling," says Bild military observer Julian Röpke.
▪️Toretsk has been 95% captured by Russian troops, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding the last mine, say Ukrainian military.
▪️Chasov Yar is 60% occupied by the Russian Armed Forces. Control over the largest multi-story district and the fireproof plant has been lost, the Ukrainian Armed Forces control the administrative center of the city and several summer cottage areas.
▪️Velyka Novosyolka is surrounded on three sides. It is a strategically important town 17 km from the borders of the Dnipropetrovsk region, which is especially strongly defended. However, the Russians have outflanked it. And the Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to supply themselves through a narrow corridor that goes across the river without a bridge. Observers believe that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will soon retreat to avoid complete encirclement.
