Everyone needs to socially align on this idea that yes L2s take away from enshrining ETH as the gas token which can hurt ETH monetary premium but at the same time they use it as a medium of exchange and store of value as a treasury asset

Would have been nice to have frxUSD in addition to USDc as redemption facility but would guess this would necessitate additional regulatory agency sign off of frax.

From the gov proposal details would suggest : BlackRock has trading and banking counter parties that FinRes cant access, the whitelist of frax in the redemption ability of BUIDL into USDC, economies of scale to access a more diversified pool of assets and the KYC/AML signoff of BlackRock of the fraxecosystem.
