I don't think you can migrate back 1:1 though. FraxUSD -> Frax is market rate afaik

The frax->frxUSD migration is 1:1, but there's nothing to maintain that 1:1 peg in the market (e.g., frxUSD:USDC vs Frax:USDC pools on dexes). I'm guessing there's still a lot of Frax paired liquidity that needs to migrate.

I personally can't comment directly on that, but I will forward what you are saying to the devs to try to get a comment for you. Most likely it is due to frxUSD being quite new, and that liquidity has not had enough time to develop to be deeper yet.
