I’m now confused about the FrxBTC statement. I’ve been following this topic closely in this chat, and it was previously mentioned that the concept involved a Frax BTC bridge being developed. Yeah, you might become a smaller player as the chain grows. Even if they raise the cap by 20% (which I don't think they will), that still means 70% of the tokens are already in circulation.

what i mean with snapshot is
for instance if you managed to get 100m fxtl by now and the revamp hits and you from there on get x amount of frax per x fxtl released over time endlessly it would mean you have to keep competing to get a reward
lets says for referenceur 100m ftxl equals 1000m frax ( ;) ) at the revamp but it releases over time
and in the next month the chain grows massively (by 12x 🤩) and all the current fraxtal users keep their fxtl yielding holdings the same in that case
that would mean in at month 4 you get 300m frax instead for your fxtl from this period( 2024)
so what i mean with snapshot is if the amount of frax which is distributed per fxtl is is locked in at the start of distribution start and then released overtime and from there on a new snap is taken per epoch and those newly fxtl amounts again have their rewards locked and released overtime again and this repeated endlessly
@samkazemian, I think it is very good to finally have investors from the Traditional financial world coming to Defi, discovering a hidden gem like frax, going all in and even sharing about us to big institutions. This is something invaluable, because there have been very few point of contacts, so far, between these two worlds.
I know how tradfi works, and while they may be less competent on the nitty gritty details of the complex mechanics of defi protocols, they are very sensitive on things like business developments and communications of project advancements. While I know you're personally doing a fantastic job reading the defi industry and talking to the key players, I think we could greatly benefit, as you said, to increase our BD effort, especially towards more integrations with potential stablecoin adoption from the traditional financial world.
I'm sure people like @Nene110932 will be fantastic advocates for a broader adoption of our assets, when it will be clear how they can help.
Onwards! Congrats on the first bits shared of the vision 2030, I'm very excited to see how everything unfolds with the next steps 💪

I don't understand why people talk about dilution/no-hardcap when the tail emission is just the emission of fxs currently has. According to the halfing schedule of FXS, it will has a upper limit (Taylor series).

i mean i think thats all fine for the fxtl after revamp
its more so about the fxtl now (2024)
If you continue to be part of the Frax ecosystem, you'll get a proportional share of those emissions though. I'm not sure what the proposed cap will be, but I think a large majority of Frax has also already been released.

is there a plan (or has it been mentioned) if theres a snapshot of the fxtl in dec-feb as i understand atm ( havent had the time yet to watch the latest flywheel) the Frax that will be awarded to the current and future Fxtl points will be released out over time which will mean the current fxtl holders have to keep up in the ranking and endless compete to retain the rank and not be diluted which seems rather negative for the early birds on fraxtal
or am i getting it wrong and once the token revamp hits all current fxtl is turned into x Frax and from there on the Fxtl points keep getting rewarded as is currently with epochs ( but lower amounts or equal to lower amounts in frax ) and they are swappable to frax to claim the reward ( which functions as a steady release/rewards for the userbase on fraxtal past revamp
